Résumé Se demander si la littérature est thérapeutique, c’est interroger l’histoire de notre civilisation, ses théories dualistes, et se demander si le langage écrit a un rapport avec le corps, en tant que ce corps est porteur d’une mémoire sensible, insue, nouée au biologique. Si les effets de langage sur le corps ne sont pas douteux, si écrire est bien une activité qui mobilise le psychisme en tant qu’il est noué au corps, si la lecture suscite toutes sortes d’affects et active la pensée, si certains livres sont éprouvés comme « faisant du bien » ou « du mal », on peut en conclure que la littérature est une sorte de remède. Mais de qui, de quoi, et pour qui ?
