Cet article présente la méthode qui m'a conduite à dégager les significations imaginaires aboutissant à la saturation des constructions représentatives racistes en métropole. Dans une approche psychosociale clinique, mon investigation à l'association Les Indivisibles-de sa création en 2007 à sa refondation en 2012-, fondée sur une exploration historique depuis les premières sociétés esclavagistes à nos jours, met en perspective les processus de transformation de l'investissement de la colonisation. Pour identifier la manière dont l'héritage colonial influence la société contemporaine, je m'appuierai sur quatre périodes : la colonisation, la décolonisation, l'esquisse postcoloniale et le travail de l'hétérogène, périodes identifiées par l'analyse socio-biographiques de 21 entretiens menés auprès de sympathisants de l'association Les Indivisibles. Les récits de vie concernent des individus d'origine pluriethnique, de nationalité française, dont certains ont des ascendants colons, d'autres colonisés ou esclaves. Je mobilise le concept de racisme colonial pour questionner leur rapport au racisme. Membres ou affiliés aux Indivisibles, association qui a pour but de déconstruire les préjugés, c'est par l'accueil des traces transgénérationnelles convoquant : 1) la dimension traumatique des expériences génocidaires ; 2) les processus liés à l'intériorisation des hiérarchies raciales ; 3) les processus liés à l'emprise des rapports de race ; 4) les processus subjectifs spécifiques au racisme que j'ai saisi la façon dont le sentiment de saturation quant aux constructions représentatives ethnoraciales participait à leur engagement.
Cet article porte sur la traversée des paradoxes en institution à partir de deux interventions, au Samu social et en formation au métier de psychologue. Il résulte d’une coélaboration menée par quatre psychosociologues dans une démarche d’orientation psychanalytique. Confrontées à des mutations institutionnelles, les auteures identifient des processus intersubjectifs déterminants pour soutenir la transitionnalité de leurs dispositifs. Différentes conceptions de l’institution peuvent alors coexister, ce qui relance le processus institutionnel. Elles accompagnent la transformation de représentations clivées en éléments conflictualisables, préalable nécessaire à leur élaboration dans des espaces dédiés. L’intervention est ainsi présentée comme lieu d’un travail sur le rapport à l’institution.
Afin de mettre en travail les représentations ethno-raciales, cet article présente un dispositif de recherche-intervention déployé auprès de sujets-apprenants, inscrits dans deux écoles de travail social en Île-de-France. Dans le contexte des attentats parisiens qui ont eu lieu entre 2015 et 2016 et l’accroissement de l’accueil de mineurs dits non accompagnés dans les institutions sociales ou médico-sociales franciliennes, l’approche pédagogique proposée a permis d’accueillir les expériences de violence socio-raciale – dont sont parfois témoins, victimes ou auteurs les futurs travailleurs sociaux –, et de mettre en mouvement les identifications entre les sujets-apprenants en formation, leur permettant ainsi de déployer leurs aptitudes socioéducatives et cliniques.
