O objetivo deste artigo consiste em analisar os produtos midiáticos derivados da franquia Once Upon a Time (2011) e identificar elementos de ligação entre as narrativas, os contos de fadas e o universo fictício da série, além de distinguir se esse universo ficcional configura uma narrativa transmídia, de acordo com os conceitos de Henry Jenkins (2009). A narrativa transmídia refere-se ao processo de comunicação a partir de múltiplas e convergentes plataformas tecnológicas e midiáticas visando o incremento da produção de sentidos. Os processos midiáticos transitam por diferentes meios de comunicação, aproveitando-se das características de cada um deles, mas extrapolando o seu universo cognitivo e sensível. A análise será realizada utilizando os seguintes produtos midiáticos: a série de televisiva, o livro e a Grafic Novel .
