RESUMO: O artigo aborda as concepções socioeducativas de três autores clássicos da educação: Durkheim, Dewey e Gramsci. Por intermédio da análise desses teóricos, busca-se refletir sobre as teorias educacionais em relação às transformações na e/ou da sociedade. Os teóricos elencados apresentam a escola como atuante socialmente, entretanto, se distinguem na compreensão do processo histórico. Para Durkheim, a escola deve proporcionar a necessária harmonia moral para solucionar a grave crise da sociedade capitalista no final do século XIX. Dewey defende uma ampla reforma pedagógica, de modo a entrelaçar o conhecimento com as experiências individuais, permitindo a maior participação de todos na sociedade, renovando e ampliando a indústria, a ciência e a democracia capitalista. Gramsci, pressupondo que a estrutura capitalista é excludente, destaca que a escola, pelo princípio educativo do trabalho, pode formar indivíduos reflexivos, críticos e capazes de atuar socialmente para romper com o sistema capitalista.
Este artigo se baseia, principalmente, nos Cadernos do Cárcere, e discorre sobre as análises gramscianas acerca das teorias de Rosa Luxemburgo, de Trotsky, da Internacional Comunista e de Bukharin. As críticas gramscianas direcionadas a esses teóricos e à Internacional Comunista, em geral, apontam que suas perspectivas e táticas políticas se firmavam em um prisma economicista/positivista, no qual predominava uma teoria mecanicista de causalidade histórica, permanecendo uma ideia de atuação política espontaneísta. Em um sentido adverso, Gramsci defende uma nova concepção político-pedagógica. No caso, pressupõe uma relação dialética entre infraestrutura e superestrutura, e entre teoria e prática histórico-social, além de defender a inserção da cultura em uma perspectiva de luta político-pedagógica. Desse modo, espera elevar moral e intelectualmente as classes subalternas, criando as condições teóricas capaz de superar o conformismo burguês, na mesma medida que poderia instaurar uma nova conformação e uma nova hegemonia política. Assim, Gramsci considera imprescindível a atuação dos intelectuais orgânicos das classes subalternas que, em contato com as massas, formariam as condições necessárias para a revolução do proletariado na sociedade civil.
O artigo objetiva refletir sobre as teorias que apontam a possibilidade de promover a transformação da sociedade, entre as quais, prioriza-se as que pontuam a educação escolar como força transformadora. Este é um tema complexo que possui análises diversas, o qual exige ser retomado, visto que na atualidade, na medida em que alguns pontuam que vivemos o fim da história, outros afirmam que estamos prestes a um novo salto qualitativo e, neste aspecto, entre as inúmeras possibilidades, a escola tem sido citada, ora como determinante, ora como resultante. Diante desta questão, recupera-se alguns enunciados da teoria marxista, em especial, debruça-se sobre o pensamento gramsciano e, considerando a reorganização do capitalismo nas últimas décadas, busca-se refletir sobre o significado da sua categoria político-pedagógica na atualidade.
Esta pesquisa aborda a temática da publicação das obras de Gramsci na Itália após a II Guerra Mundial através de uma ação político-pedagógica denominada, justamente, Operação Gramsci. Assim, em primeira instância, elucida a disputa pela herança literária de Gramsci entre Togliatti e a família russa (família Schucht), envolvendo os principais expoentes da Internacional Comunista. Após a vitória de Togliatti, e a svolta de Salerno, que estabeleceu um governo de coalizão nacional entre os diversos partidos políticos italianos, inclusive o comunista, iniciou-se o projeto político-pedagógico mencionado, no qual a publicação das obras de Gramsci servia para a formação política das classes e, consequentemente, para o crescimento do Partido Comunista na Itália. A pesquisa utiliza-se, em modo especial, da correspondência entre os familiares russos de Gramsci, os membros do PCI – Partido Comunista Italiano e da Internacional Comunista. Portanto, o estudo visa preencher uma lacuna na medida em que as obras de Gramsci são difundidas no Brasil, a partir de traduções das edições italianas, que não aprofundam o contexto sociopolítico e o projeto político-pedagógico que motivou sua publicação na Itália após a II Guerra Mundial.
RIASSUNTO: Questo studio trattera dell'educazione dell'uomo in Agostino di Ippona. Nella concezione agostiniana educare significa liberare l'uomo dei vizi e realizzare la sua originale apertura all'essere transcendente che é Dio. Tuttavia, l'uomo soltanto può ritornare a Dio se, per primo Dio viene al suo inccontro. Per questo motivo, fin dal momento della creazione, Dio si fa presente nell'uolo, il quale fu creato non soltanto da Dio, ma anche per Dio. Dio educa l'uomo dall'interno attraverso la presenza ontologica ed anche per mezzo della presenza illuminante, dalla quale l'uomo há bisogno per conoscere la vera volontà divina. Ma, per l'uomo non basta solo conoscere. Per essere educato nel cammino del bene l'uomo bisogna anche essere mosso dall'Amore dal proprio Dio. Illuminato nel conoscere e mosso dall'Amore per agire com retitudine, l'uomo viene educato e può lavorare nella costruzione della Cittá di Dio sulla terra. L'educazione dell'uomo in Agostino include le questioni dell'essere, del conoscere, dell'agire. L'educazione per Agostino include le grandi parti della filosofia: metafisica, gnoseologia, ética e politica.
