INTRODUÇÃO: O consumo abusivo e problemático de drogas pode influenciar de forma decisiva no processo de saúde-doença mental dos usuários e de suas famílias. Diante desse contexto, inserem-se também os aspectos relacionados ao suicídio que, por sua vez, se caracteriza como o ato intencional de um indivíduo para extinguir sua própria vida. OBJETIVO: construir e validar um jogo interativo para dispositivos móveis, como tecnologia educativa para prevenção ao uso de drogas e suicídio. MÉTODOS: Trata-se de um estudo de desenvolvimento tecnológico, desenvolvido em duas etapas: construção e validação, no período de setembro de 2019 a março de 2021. Utilizou-se de oficinas e reuniões sistemáticas mediadas pela metodologia do Designer Instrucional Contextualizado para construção do jogo SerTão Bom. Para a segunda etapa utilizou-se do Índice de Validação de Conteúdo (IVC) para validação do conteúdo e aparência junto aos especialistas em saúde mental e em informática, com organização dos dados em planilhas no Excel. RESULTADOS: Definiu-se o nome do jogo correspondente a “SerTão Bom”. Trata-se, portanto, de um jogo estilo quiz, com total de 196 perguntas, disponível off-line para sistema Android, desenvolvido por meio do programa Unity em formato 2D. CONCLUSÃO: O jogo interativo SerTão Bom tem contribuído com a promoção e cuidado em saúde mental já que é uma ferramenta que leva conhecimento sobre as drogas, redução de danos e risco de suicídio.
