The study was conducted at experimantal field at Faculty of Agriculture, Asahan University, Asahan Regency on October 2020 until December 2020. The study aims to the find out the growth response and production of shallots (Allium cepa L.) to the concentration of coconut water and growth media veticulture. This study used randomized complete block design with two factors: (1) Concentration of coconut water (K) with 3 levels: K1 = 25% (250 ml coconut water + 750 ml water), K2 = 50% (500 ml coconut water + 500 ml water), K3 = 75% (750 ml coconut water + 250 ml water) and (2) growth media (M) with 3 levels: M1 = soil + cow manure (1:1), M2 = soil + cow manure (2:1), M3 = soil + cow manure (3:1). Observation parameters were plant height, number of leave, number of bulbs, bulbs weight. The results showed that coconut water concentration had a significant effect on the number of tubers per clump and tuber wet weight, but had no significant effect on observations. plant height and number of leaves, the best treatment at K3 = 75% (750 ml coconut water + 250 ml water). The planting medium did not significantly affect the observations of plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers per clump and wet weight of tubers. The interaction between the concentration of coconut water and growing media did not have a significant effect on all observed variables.
Tomatoes are essential for Indonesians because they have high economic and nutritional value. In addition, as population growth increases, the demand for tomatoes also increases. Based on this, it is essential to research to predict the future development of tomato crop production. The research in this paper uses a dataset of tomato plant production in Indonesia, which is spread across 34 provinces in the last seven years, namely from 2015 to 2021), which is sourced from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics and the District/City Agriculture Service of each Province. The algorithm proposed in this study is the Fletcher-Reeves Conjugate Gradient Algorithm which will be processed with the help of Matlab2011b. Research analysis with three network architectural models: 5-7-1, 5-13-1, and 5-17-1. Based on a network comparison of the three architectural models, the best result is the 5-17-1 model because the MSE value is the smallest compared to the other two models, namely 0.0009915 compared to 0.0010851 and 0.0049764, as well as the highest level of accuracy, namely by 94% versus 91% and 88%. Therefore the 5-17-1 model is used to predict the yield of tomato production in Indonesia for the future (2022 and 2023). Based on the prediction results at the end of 2022 and 2023, there are 18 provinces where tomato crop production has the potential to increase, although not too significantly. The prediction of tomato production using the Fletcher-Reeves algorithm is quite good because it produces a small error rate and high accuracy.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di desa Sei Kamah II Kecamatan Sei Dadap Kabupaten Asahan Provinsi Sumatera Utara dengan ketinggian ±12 m diatas permukaan laut dengan topografi datar. Rancangan RAK-F yang terdiri atas dua faktor dan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah pengaruh dosis pupuk cangkang telur (T) dengan 3 taraf, yaitu : T0 = 0 g /plot, T1 = 200 g/plot, T2 = 400 g/plot. Faktor kedua adalah pengaruh dosis pupuk Feses burung walet (W) dengan 4 taraf, yaitu : W0 = 0 g/plot, W1 = 250 g/plot, W2 = 500 g/plot dan W3 = 750 g/plot. Community service is an activity that realizes and improves the quality of community knowledge in helping the problems experienced by the community in the community. Through the Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKNT) program based on community service, this activity is to increase students' sense of solidarity with the existing conditions of the community. The use of land with hydroponic cultivation is an alternative that can be done by utilizing minimal yard land and being able to use used goods. Farming with hydroponics is very environmentally friendly in addition to not using pesticides, also the production can be used alone or as an economic source of household income. In addition, the outputs obtainedare n: (1) Improvement of superior quality of resources; (2) improving household economic resources; (3) Encourage the progress of the village.
