Cette thèse aborde le problème de système dont le nombre de modes de fonctionnement et la structure du modèle de chaque mode est connu a priori. La méthode présentée repose sur l'estimation de paramètres "globaux" apparaissant lors par la multiplication des modèles propres à chaque mode de fonctionnement entre eux. L'analyse de la sensibilité du modèle global vis-à-vis des entrées/sorties du système génère un indicateur du mode de fonctionnement. Ce mémoire de thèse se décompose en 5 chapitres de la façon suivante : 1 Chapitre 1 Ce chapitre présente le procédé industriel sur lequel s'appuie la problématique de ce travail à savoir : la détection des collages en lingotière de coulée continue. Ensuite deux modèles simplifiés de la lingotière (l'un mécanique, l'autre thermique), utilisés dans la suite du document, sont présentés. 2 Chapitre 2 Au cours de ce chapitre, quelques méthodes de diagnostic sont présentées et utilisées afin de détecter le changement de mode de fonctionnement d'un système. Toutes ces méthodes sont appliquées au même exemple : le modèle mécanique de lingotière. 3 Chapitre 3 Ce chapitre est consacré au développement de la méthode nommée "méthode du gradient des résidus". Cette méthode consiste en l'analyse de la sensibilité du résidu du modèle global aux différentes entrées et sortie du système ce qui permet d'identifier son mode de fonctionnement. De plus une généralisation est proposée pour un système comportant un nombre quelconque de variables et de modes de fonctionnement. 4 Chapitre 4 Ce chapitre présente l'application de la méthode du gradient des résidus pour la détection des collages en lingotière de coulée continue. Dans un premier temps, la méthode est testée sur des données issues des simulateurs (mécanique et thermique). Dans un second temps, elle est appliquée à des données industrielles. 5 Chapitre 5 Au cours de ce chapitre, une méthode par rejet de mode pour la détection des collages en lingotière est présentée. Elle se base sur la reconnaissance d'un unique mode de fonctionnement sain et détecte comme mode en défaut tous les autres modes qui 2 pourraient survenir sur le système. Cette méthode est testée sur les données du simulateur thermique ainsi que sur les données industrielles. Un bilan des performances de ce système de détection est alors établi.
