This study aims to determine the effect of applying head elevation to improve cerebral tissue perfusion in stroke patients. The method used is a single data, namely a literature review. The results showed that 30° head elevation was recommended in improving cerebral tissue perfusion, although the difference was not too high. In conclusion, there is an effect of the SPO2 value after the head elevation is 30°, and 15° in stroke patients.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of applying head elevation to intracranial pressure in stroke patients. This research method uses one data, namely a literature study. The results showed that head elevations of 0°, 15°, 30°, and 45° affected intracranial pressure in stroke patients. In conclusion, it shows that 30° more head elevation can improve the intracranial pressure problem, although the difference's value is not significant.

This study aims to determine the effect of applying 30° head elevation to increase oxygen saturation and GCS scores in stroke patients. The research method is a systematic review by searching for articles through Pubmed, Google Scholar, Proquest, Emerland, and Garuda. The results showed that the number of articles synthesized was eight, with the result that there were 4 GCS scores and SP02 scores of 2.48% after 30 head elevation. In conclusion, 30° head elevation affects the GCS value and oxygen saturation.
