TEMPORARY USE OF SPACE AS A FACTOR IN THE REVITALISATION OF BROWNFIELD SITES IN URBAN AREASizVleČek V mestih so najbolj nekoristni dalj časa zapuščeni in prazni prostori. Začasna raba stavb in stavbnih zemljišč se kaže kot neformalna praksa, ki učinkovito rešuje probleme degradiranih urbanih območij. Strokovna literatura začasno rabo prostora utemeljuje kot pozitivno zaradi njenega prispevka k prakti-ciranja bolj prožnega načrtovanja in alternativnega upravljanja mest. Po drugi strani pa različne oblike in načini začasne rabe prostora lahko spodbudijo novo, inovativno in vključujočo kulturo mestnega življenja. Pregled ključne literature izpostavlja, da tradicionalni postopki urbanističnega načrtovanja praviloma ne prepoznavajo koristi začasne rabe prostora, namesto da bi jo dopuščali, omogočali in pogojevali kot razvojni instrument. Članek se zato osredotoča na pomen in pozitivne učinke začasne rabe prostora kot pomembnega dejavnika gospodarske, družbene, kulturne in okoljske regeneracije mest. Kriterij pri izboru virov je bila znanstvena odličnost, ki smo jo preverjali na portalu SJR (Scimago Journal & Country Rank) in v bazi WOS (Web of Science) ter Scopus (The largest database of peer-reviewed literature | Elsevier).kljuČne Besede opuščene stavbe, razvrednotena območja, ponovna raba stavb, začasna raba urbanega prostora
Povzetek: Romanika je prvi mednarodni vseevropski umetnostni slog, ki je pred približno tisoč leti preplavil domala vso sedanjo Evropo in se takrat razvil v vseh socialnih plasteh prebivalstva. Izhaja iz samostanske umetnosti. Samostani so bili v tistem času središča, iz katerih se je širila ne samo vera, temveč tudi znanje in vse upodabljajoče umetnosti. Burgundija je zagotovo eno od jeder, od koder se je širil prvi od velikih slogov evropske umetnosti; v Evropi velja za območje z največjo gostoto spomenikov romanskega izvora. Neposredne vplive romanskih principov gradnje je prek tujih mojstrov mogoče zaznati tudi na območju današnje Slovenije. Vsakoletne interdisciplinarne delavnice v organizaciji francoskega Mednarodnega centra za študije kulturne dediščine v pokrajini Charolais-Brionnais v Burgundiji (fr. Centre International d'Etudes des Patrimoines Culturels du Charolais-Brionnais – C.E.P) omogočajo študentom arhitekture z različnih univerz po Evropi preučevanje in dokumentiranje romanske arhitekture v samem izvoru. Z izmerami in nedestruktivnimi analitskimi metodami ugotavljanja stavbnega razvoja dveh romanskih arhitektur iz naselij Chassenard in Ballore se je pod mentorskim vodstvom spoprijela tudi skupina študentov Fakultete za arhitekturo iz Ljubljane. V interdisciplinarni raziskavi so bile na novo identificirane sestavine romanskega izvora in opredeljeni poznejši posegi v obravnavana spomenika, to pa vse skupaj pomeni originalne in izvirne raziskovalne dosežke.
Prilagođena ponovna uporaba graditeljskog naslijeđa jedna je od ključnih komponenata modela održivog razvoja i istovremeno temeljno načelo doktrine očuvanja baštine. Ponovnim korištenjem graditeljskog naslijeđa razvoj društva može imati ekološke, socijalne, ekonomske i druge koristi. Prikazani odabrani primjeri kao studije slučaja potvrđuju teze i polazišta iz ovoga rada.
