APRESENTAÇÃOO livro "Estudos sobre os impactos da pandemia no Brasil" apresenta um acervo interdisciplinar de pesquisas de diversas partes do país.A pandemia de Covid-19, causada pelo vírus SARS-CoV-2 impactou não apenas a saúde humana, mas também outros aspectos importantes da vida social, como a educação, economia, renda, cultura, aumentando e evidenciando ainda mais as desigualdades na população mais vulnerável.A obra composta por 38 capítulos apresenta diversas alternativas para que os problemas causados pela pandemia possam ser minimizados, através de ações e políticas públicas eficazes.Agradecemos aos pesquisadores que contribuíram para que este registro histórico pudesse ser realizado.
O presente trabalho apresenta o relato da ação de extensão receptiva e dialogal aplicada na comunidade PAC/Anglo, localizada no município de Pelotas/RS. Compreende a exposição do “Caderno de Recomendações Construtivas para Habitação Social Evolutiva” junto à comunidade, para difusão de conhecimento técnico especializado de arquitetura e construção de modo a auxiliar os moradores com informações relevantes ao processo de autoconstrução e reforma, condição motivada pela insatisfação com o projeto original entregue pelo poder público aos moradores da comunidade em questão. O caderno é um manual construtivo acessível e didático para a apropriação dos moradores no ato de reforma de suas casas, de modo a contribuir para a obtenção de maior conforto, segurança e qualidade de vida no espaço doméstico. A ação foi planejada por intermédio da associação de moradores, com agendamento do salão comunitário, panfletagem de porta em porta para convite e divulgação da atividade, treinamento prévio de alunos, bolsistas e professores e previsão de atividades lúdicas para o público infantil. O dia da ação consistiu em uma aplicação estruturada do Caderno de Recomendações, com distribuição de mesas temáticas a fim de melhor orientar os moradores a respeito dos temas abordados pelo material – a saber: banheiros, escadas, cozinhas, pátios e varandas, rampas de acesso, muros e grades. O caderno demonstrou ser um instrumento eficiente para alavancar o processo participativo da casa evolutiva, realidade pulsante na comunidade PAC/Anglo e inaugurar o processo posterior de Assistência Técnica profissional para futuras reformas.
Caminhar tem se tornado um desafio devido às ameaças de violência urbana, em especial os altos índices de crimes em vias públicas. Este trabalho investiga os crimes patrimoniais contra a pessoa em vias públicas de Vitória-ES, bem como a sua correlação com os aspectos urbanísticos e suas consequências na qualidade de vida urbana. São analisadas as informações criminais fornecidas pela Secretaria da Segurança Pública do Espírito Santo, entre 2015 e 2019. Procede-se à estratificação dos tipos de ocorrência por bairros e à confecção de mapas georreferenciados, oportunizando a visualização precisa das ocorrências de furto e roubo à pessoa em vias públicas. Por fim, adota-se um recorte territorial com alta concentração de ocorrências para explorar, in loco, as características da forma urbana e a observação dos pedestres. Reafirmamse a escassa diversidade social, o comportamento de risco dos pedestres, a erosão dos espaços públicos e ausência de fachadas ativas nos trechos perigosos.
