The present investigation analyzes the formative experience developed by teachers of Educational Technology and Innovation at Universidad Técnica del Norte -Imbabura-Ibarra-Ecuador, in the elaboration of a digital storytelling in the framework of the Tele-collaborative Project under ABP methodology carried out with video and stories raised from a traditional story for students of Initial Education. The degree of acquisition of skills valued at low, medium and high levels was verified; They were classified into four aspects: digital, narrative, creative and didactic competences. The construct was validated with statistical tests from RStudio where the component of experience in Tele-collaborative Projects was positively valued at 86.13%, the design Tele-collaborative Projects 80.69%, Digital Storytelling 80.47% and Level evaluation in skills 66.49%. It is concluded that a Storytelling is a useful and sustainable resource for learning because it motivates, transmits values, develops critical thinking and social skills, the experience is highly successful in teaching practice.
