Radikalisme merupakan ancaman disintegrasi bangsa Indonesia. Pencegahan Radikalisme harus dimulai dari hulu ke hilir. Pemahaman yang sempit terhadap ajaran Islam merupakan penyebab munculnya radikalisme. Hal ini biasa terjadi pada sebagian kalangan pelajar atau mahasiswa dari perguruan tinggi berlatar belakang pendidikan umum. Maka, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi pemahaman yang sempit dalam beragama bagi mahasiswa dengan upaya menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama melalui pembelajaran MKWU Agama Islam. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji hakikat nilai-nilai moderasi beragama sehingga dapat ditanamkan melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Universitas Borneo Tarakan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan bahan ajar pada MKWU Agama Islam di Universitas Borneo Tarakan.
Indonesia has been dealing with refugees since 1950s, despite the fact that the country has never been a party to the 1951 Refugees Convention and its 1967 Protocol. As of May 2017, according to UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), Indonesia has been hosting 14,500 refugees from more than 57 countries. In handling of refugees, Indonesia puts forward the value of human rights that in line with its nation's ideology (Pancasila) and its constitutions (UUD 1945), and Regulation Number 39 Year 1999 pertaining to human rights. At the end of 2016, president of Indonesia releases new regulation pertaining this matter to show its willingness and strong commitment to help these refugees. Therefore, this new regulation is expected to balance out the challenge as well as the threat that might harm the nation with the arrival of these foreigners and the implementation of existing regulations on human rights. Thus, this research examines about the ius constitutum and ius constituendum pertaining to the handling of refugees in Indonesia. This research is legal research, using statute approach and descriptive legal research. Ultimately, the results of this research are expected to give more insights on the handling of refugees in a non-state party to the other state parties to the 1951 convention relating to the status of refugee.
This article highlights the importance of journalistic ethics concerning disseminating information to the public, especially on social media, so that community unity and integrity are maintained and are not easily provoked by false issues. This research is legal research using a normative approach and Islamic literature approach. This research found that a Muslim journalist must put forward several principles: tabayyun, positive thinking, and intention not to spread fake news.Keyword (s): Ethics, Journalistics, Islamic law.
The purpose of this study is to describe how and what are the doctrines of Islamic values through the curriculum in educational institutions. The existence of Islamic education is to preserve the proper value system of piety. Because it is human nature that specific value systems also demand a developed education system, the strategies adopted, the techniques used, the subject matter as content, and the policies from the lowest level of an institution to the main level with a comprehensive and integrated curriculum system, all of which should not be contrary to the Islamic value system as a fitrah. This research uses qualitative research by taking data at Madrasah Hurrasul Aqidah Tarakan City as the object of research, data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation; analytical tools used are Miles and Huberman qualitative analysis models, checking the validity of data using triangulation. This study resulted in five doctrinal values through the curriculum, namely: strengthening the Islamic aqidah uluhiyah-rububiyah-asma wa shifat in students' daily lives, emphasizing habituation of sunnah worship integrated with fiqh subjects, habituation of civilized characters with examples and directions, tahfidh al-qur'an it is mandatory for all students to have the vision of creating a Qur'anic generation, and tadabbur alam (knowing God's creation) as natural learning media. This study is oriented by integrating Islamic values in the core and extra curriculum as the doctrine of giving birth to an Islamic generation (qur'ani); this emphasizes the critical role of vision and mission in a robust educational institution that characterizes the output of its graduates because the cases generally follow the general policy of the government only.
