Orangutans are the only great apes that live in Asia and have the most threatenedstatus in the world. Currently there are three types of orangutans in Indonesia; the Sumatranorangutan (Pongo abelii), the Borneo orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus) and the Tapanuliorangutan (Pongo tapanuliensi). The types of colors that enter critical status are endangered(critical) based on International Unity for Nature Conservation in 2017. Approximately 75%of the distribution of orangutans will be outside the sexuality area need data distributionand orangutan population to meet data needs for the benefit of orangutans. This study used a method to collect data which were of library studies, data retrieval, consultation and discussion studies. After the data was collected, it was conducted needanalysis and system design using the W2000 Software Development Method, which includedprocess design, database design, menu structure design and interface design. Then thesystem implementation utilized Google Map Service and the PHP programming languagebased on the website with the MySQL database. The results of the testing are several locations of orangutan nests where every pointowns information in the form of the number of orangutans and their population. The resultsof this study are the mapping of orangutan’s nests with a GIS web-based spatial dataapproach that will provide information on nest position, nest density, orangutan populationdensity which is at the position of the nest radius.
This study aims to determine the characteristics of students who are likely to graduate or drop out (DO) in the management department of the National University, Jakarta. The study was conducted by implementing the K-Means algorithm, where each data is grouped according to the closest distance to the centroid. Determination of Cluster C1 graduate or C2 drop out is based on the attributes of status of students (active, leave, out and non-active), educational status (graduated or DO), GPA, total credits taken and length of study. To facilitate the clustering process, Orange tools are used that provide K-Means algorithm features. The total data input in this study were 1988 students from various classes. As a result, a pattern or mapping of graduated or DO students was found based on the attributes mentioned earlier. Testing the results of this cluster with the silhouette method, by measuring the distance between cluster members, both C1 and C2, showed good Silhouetter value, reaching 85%. The management department, National University can use the results of this study to predict the graduation of their students.
Earthquakes are relatively common natural disasters in Indonesia, mainly due to the interaction of tectonic plates. In this study the seismic energy recorded on the seismograph was measured on the Richter Scale (SR). The dataset collected during Semester 1 of 2019 from the Meteorology and Geophysics, Climatology Agency (BMKG) noted that there were many seismic energy vibrations occurring from small to large around Indonesia. Furthermore, for the attributes of the dataset that have been collected include Date / Time, Longitude, Latitude, Depth (Km), Magnitude (SR), Range of depth (Km) and the effect of earthquake damage selected as the class of the dataset collected, in this study the authors used the method classification with ID3 algorithm to produce effective prediction data for the benefit of earthquake early warning in the Indonesian archipelago.
Abstract— In this modern era, the assessment of an individual with other individuals is still in the subjective stage, a human being assesses the abilities of other humans by using various points of view. Likewise, what Pratikan did to his Pratikum Assistants gave them an assessment that was in accordance with what they had, but the assessment sometimes had different parameters so that the conclusions between one person and another were different, there was no similarity in judging one person. With the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, the problem can be solved with the help of this method. Websites that have become part of social life and are closely integrated in daily activities. So using the SAW method, one of the alternatives in the assessment can provide a Pratikum Assistant. The results obtained from these values can provide a new perspective on various kinds of problems. Deciding that no Practicum Assistant can be reused or the results of a given Assessor can help create a new resolution to the pattern of scoring in Practicum Assistants.
In this increasingly advanced era, Information Technology (IT) is unavoidable. Everyone is competing to find innovations that can improve their performance. Private Universities (PTS) in Indonesia are no exception. An educational institution's attendance list is the primary reference in monitoring student activities. Although this sector is critical, traditional data collection is still taking place. As a result, many problems arise, such as data loss, long charging times, long queues, overcrowding, and even affects student concentration. ITS NU Kalimantan is one of several private universities in Central Kalimantan and is still relatively new. Student attendance applications are designed and developed for more mature data collection to avoid problems that arise later. This study offers the use of web android-based technology equipped with a QR code feature. Based on the questionnaire results conducted on 45 respondents who used the UAT model, the perceived usefulness aspect was 82%, the perceived ease of use aspect was 84%, the perceived user acceptance aspect was 82%, and the average rating produced was 83%. This percentage shows that users respond positively to this attendance system.
