A pandemia do coronavírus (COVID-19) causou uma mudança brusca na vida da população, sobretudo pelo medo da contaminação pelo vírus SARS-CoV-2, desse modo, o isolamento social foi adotado como medida de controle para atenuar a transmissão viral. Este contexto gerou um ambiente desfavorável, que culminou com o desenvolvimento ou piora do quadro clínico dos pacientes com Transtorno Obsessivo Compulsivo (TOC). Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a influência da pandemia do COVID-19 nos casos de TOC. Para elaborar esta revisão de literatura, buscou-se artigos indexados nas plataformas Scielo e Pubmed, usando os descritores “Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder” e “Covid-19” e sendo usado o operador booleano “AND”. Foram incluídos artigos publicados entre 2020 e 2022, em inglês e português e de acesso livre, excluiu-se aqueles que não se enquadravam em tais critérios e à temática, dessa maneira obtendo-se 113 artigos. Na seleção dos artigos a serem analisados, 32 se enquadraram na primeira etapa e, por fim, seguindo os critérios de inclusão e exclusão após leitura minunciosa, a etapa final contou com 18 artigos para análise. Assim, foi inferido que pandemias globais como a COVID-19 podem representar um fardo substancial para pacientes com TOC relacionado à contaminação. Embora, o impacto da atual pandemia no TOC não seja totalmente conhecido, é possível que o transtorno possa levar de semanas a meses para se tornar aparente, e nota-se um grande risco de recorrência ou exacerbação dos sintomas em alguns pacientes. Entretanto, deve-se considerar que a análise do quadro clínico sofreu influência do período da pandemia que o estudo foi realizado e em que país ocorreu, observando-se manifestações tanto de piora quanto de melhora, a depender dessas variáveis. Contudo, notou-se que, de maneira geral, o foco excessivo da mídia e sociedade na prevenção da contaminação e a normalização dos rituais de descontaminação reforçaram os comportamentos disfuncionais compulsivos. Ademais, no contexto pandêmico existem vários mecanismos pelos quais o TOC pode se agravar, como a dinâmica familiar alterada, que de maneira implícita pode incentivar rituais extremos de descontaminação, proporcionar um ambiente mais estressante e ansiogênico para lidar com os medos relacionados ao vírus. Além disso, estressores financeiros gerados pela insegurança da economia mundial e o isolamento social, podem contribuir para a ansiedade patológica, associado ao estresse, e gerar sintomas depressivos, propiciando hábitos cada vez mais inflexíveis de limpeza e efetivamente obsessivos. Alguns estudos procuraram relacionar o medo e a instabilidade pandêmica de acordo com a faixa etária, sobretudo em estudantes, atribuindo novos diagnósticos de TOC e a sua exacerbação, decorrentes do objetivo de conter a contaminação. Além do mais, a respeito do tratamento foram identificadas certas medidas para enfrentamento do TOC, como por exemplo, mudanças de estilo de vida, aderência a terapia farmacológica de primeira linha, a qual são os inibidores seletivos da recaptação de serotonina (ISRS), e da psicoterapia, especialmente a modalidade cognitivo comportamental (TCC). Portanto, a exacerbação do TOC diante da pandemia da COVID-19 apresenta-se presente, embora a extensão dos diferentes sintomas varie, é de total importância que os profissionais da saúde reconheçam este cenário para promover a aderência ao tratamento medicamentoso e não medicamentoso, melhorando a qualidade de vida dessa população.

Eixo Temático: Psiquiatria Introdução: No início do ano de 2020, a pandemia do coronavírus (COVID-19) causada pelo vírus SARS-CoV-2 teve sua gênese, causando uma enorme crise sanitária ao redor do globo. Diante disso, além do elevado número de infectados e de óbitos, foi gerada uma crise socioeconômica que contribuiu com uma desestabilização emocional de milhares de indivíduos, sobretudo grupos mais vulneráveis, como por exemplo as gestantes e as puérperas. A gravidez e o puerpério compreendem períodos em que as mulheres se encontram com grandes mudanças biopsicossociais, tornando-as suscetíveis a vários estressores, e no contexto pandêmico, observou-se aumento dos sintomas de estresse, ansiedade e depressão. Neste sentido, destaca-se um dos grandes problemas de saúde pública da mulher, a Depressão Pós-Parto (DPP), a qual consiste em um transtorno de humor que atinge as puérperas e traz consequências nocivas tanto para saúde materna quanto para o recém-nascido (RN). Objetivo: O estudo objetiva compreender a influência da pandemia de COVID-19 sobre as puérperas, ressaltando suas suscetibilidades em apresentar depressão pós-parto, os fatores de risco envolvidos e as consequências à saúde materna e do RN, além dos fatores de proteção contra o transtorno. Métodos: O presente estudo trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, a qual para sua elaboração foi realizada a busca de artigos na base de dados do PubMed, com os descritores "postpartum depression" e "COVID-19", utilizando o operador booleano "AND" entre eles. Foram incluídos artigos publicados entre os anos de 2020 e 2022, com textos integrais livres, em inglês e português. Os critérios de exclusão foram cartas para editores, ensaios e trabalhos que não abordavam o tema principal, e aqueles que não se enquadravam aos critérios de inclusão. Foram obtidas 226 amostras, com base nos resumos foram escolhidos 28 artigos, e após leitura minuciosa destes trabalhos na íntegra, foram selecionados 15 estudos para análise. Resultados: Foi inferido que a crise sanitária de COVID-19 representou um fator extremamente negativo na vida das puérperas, as quais apresentaram mais frequentemente sintomas da depressão pós-parto que comparado aos anos anteriores. É certo que a pandemia teve como uma de suas consequências, uma crise econômica global. Desse modo, foi observado que puérperas que sofreram dificuldades financeiras, desemprego e menor suporte social, apresentaram mais sintomas de depressão pós-parto. Tais manifestações
Em 2020 o mundo se deparou com a pandemia causada pelo COVID-19 e, consequentemente, com a necessidade do isolamento social e do fechamento de instituições de ensino, trabalho e lazer. Diante disso, foram criadas estratégias para adaptação a esses obstáculos, como o home office, a teleconsulta e outras medidas para controlar a propagação do vírus. Os pacientes com Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH), frente a tal cenário, se mostraram como uma população com um potencial risco de infecção e de possível agravamento do quadro clínico, por serem pouco tolerantes à quebra da rotina, são mais resistentes às novas medidas higieno- comportamentais para auto-proteção. Sendo assim, foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica, selecionando os estudos referentes ao impacto da pandemia nos pacientes com TDAH. Observou-se, portanto, a ocorrência de alterações no sono, no quadro clínico e na gravidade desses pacientes, dificuldades de acesso médico e adaptações diante do diagnóstico e tratamento foram de difícil manejo, além de a patologia se comportar como fator de risco para a infecção e hospitalização pelo COVID-19. Assim, foi possível perceber que os pacientes com TDAH sofrem importantes adversidades frente à pandemia, sendo necessário adaptações para que mesmo diante de tais obstáculos, se possa oferecer uma assistência integral a estes pacientes.
