The latest media nowadays is a set of interaction tools for expanding the subjects’ communicative, sensory and cognitive capabilities involving information and communication technologies that correspond to the historical period of their development. Currently, these are technical means (PC equipment with a software complex, with various means of supporting network communications), information resources and communication platforms based on digital technologies. Modern media meet the needs of long-distance, international interactive communication and integrate a number of means for the individual’s creative implementation, his social activity and participation in society’s information processes. The purpose of the academic paper is a theoretical and practical description of the concept, individual types and features of using new media as technologies that provide communicative processes in the digital mode. Methodology. In the process of preparing the present research, several methods were applied. In particular, analytical and bibliographic methods, induction, deduction, analysis, and synthesis of information were used to study scientific literature on applying new media when working with communication processes in the digital dimension. System-structural, comparative, logical-linguistic methods, abstraction, and idealization were used to study and process data. The questionnaire survey was conducted by the research’s authors in online mode for the practical clarification of media tools’ certain aspects in the field of communications. Results. Based on the research results, the features of using new media types as modern communication technologies in the digital space were studied.
The functioning of language in modern media is a complex set of different types of discourses. It involves using mental and cultural codes, concepts and archetypes, taking into account the specifics of Internet content and methods of its promotion, along with traditional newspaper journalism, knowledge of the basics of cognitive, communicative and information-theoretical theories and methods, etc. The purpose of the academic paper is to clarify the features and modern tendencies of teaching the mass media language with the help of digital tools, as well as to establish particular practical aspects of using such educational means in the process of teaching the mass media language. In the course of the research, the analytical-bibliographic method was used to study the scientific literature on teaching the mass media language with the help of digital tools. Along with this, induction, deduction, analysis, synthesis of information, system-structural, comparative, logical-linguistic methods, abstraction, and idealization were applied for studying and processing data. At the same time, the questionnaire survey was conducted in online mode by the research authors to practically clarify certain aspects of using digital educational tools in teaching the mass media language. Based on the research results, the primary and most significant theoretical aspects of the process of teaching the mass media language using digital educational tools were highlighted. Moreover, the standpoints of education seekers and teachers of higher educational institutions regarding the key aspects of this issue were clarified.

THE BIBLICAL CODE OF LESYA UKRAINKAʼS DRAMATIC POEM "IN THE RUINS"The article is an attempt to read Lesya Ukrainka's dramatic poem "On the Ruins" using the concept of "biblical code", which involves the analysis and interpretation of biblical motifs, allusions and reminiscences present in the text of the drama, with the aim of revealing new meanings that are intended to produce a similar dialogue with the Book of Books .It is noted that the sacred text of the Bible served for the writer as a sense-creating rod, a basis for creating new deep meanings. It is emphasized that the central character of the drama is the prophetess Tirza. Prophets played a special role in the history of the Jewish people, which is discussed in the Bible, which describes in detail their activities aimed at the spiritual and national development of the Jewish people. It is emphasized that prophets and prophetesses in the Bible are endowed with the mission of spiritual guidance, because they were the voice of God, through them the chosen people learned Актуальнi питання гуманiтарних наук. These spiritual processes should completely change not only the traditional religious type, the system of religious values, but also contribute to the state, ethnic, religious consolidation of the Israeli people.It is emphasized that the image of the prophetess Tirza fully corresponds to the biblical reception of the prophetic mission. The heroine of the drama is aware of her high calling. In her appeals to her fellow tribesmen, she postulates the main value guidelines that should serve as guideposts for the community of Israelis on the way to national, state, as well as internal, spiritual freedom. The first among others is the necessary faith in the one God, that is, the spiritual unity of the nation based on a common faith. The second is the land, which has value for the chosen people not only on a material level, but also on a symbolic level, as the Promised Land promised by God. The third is the word. Tirza compares it to a weapon. The word itself has a leading role in the development of life and unity of the nation.It is emphasized that the best qualities of a spiritual leader are embodied in the image of Tirza. The prophetess speaks on behalf of God, which actually gives her the right to evaluate and blame. The pathos of her criticism calls for a general moral transformation, taking into account the universal values of love, brotherhood, peace, and unity. Tirzah rejects the old "holy things of Zion" by drowning the harp of the prophet Jeremiah in the Jordan. This act symbolizes the need to abandon tradition, from the old mythological worldview paradigm, because it does not provide an opportunity for development and forward movement. Пошук глибинних смислів, закодованих у поемі Лесі Українки, здійснювався з урахуванням біблійного та історичного контексту. Відзначається, що створений автором образ глибоко трагічний.
