Neste artigo, analiso a obra O Poço da Solidão (1928), de Radclyffe Hall (1880-1943), a partir de seu contexto de publicação e da construção narrativa da protagonista Stephen em relação à lesbianidade. Levando em consideração que Stephen transgride as imposições dos papéis sexuais da socialização feminina, abordo as teorias desenvolvidas por Simone de Beauvoir (1949) e, posteriormente, Monique Wittig (1980), dentre outras. Ao ter a possibilidade do que Virginia Woolf (1928) caracteriza como “um teto todo seu”, Stephen se destaca enquanto escritora, mas ainda assim passa por conflitos acerca de sua sexualidade devido aos discursos conservadores da família, da medicina e da religião, os quais incidem sobre ela e a impedem de ter uma existência lésbica plena.
RESUMO: Este trabalho objetiva analisar o último livro de Michel Laub, O tribunal da quinta-feira (2016), quanto aos conteúdos abordadosinternet, homossexualidade, HIV/Aidse as propriedades formais da obranarrador em primeira pessoa, formas tecnológicas. A ficção de Laub aborda temas diversos e pode ser investigada por vários vieses. Propõe-se este estudo apoiado em conceituações sobre narrativa em primeira pessoa de Maria Lúcia Dal Farra (1978) e Käte Hamburger (1976). Além disso, a pesquisa de aspectos da literatura contemporânea será abordada a partir de teóricas como Regina Dalcastagnè (2001) e Heloísa Buarque de Hollanda (s/d), argumentando-se que o fator narrativo é pertinente à leitura da obra, tornando quem lê empático ao enredo e ao personagem principal. Ainda que o narrador em primeira pessoa aparentemente retire a vilanidade de suas atitudes, a violência simbólica e verbal de um discurso divulgado na internet passa a ser pensada de modo a não se ignorar o alvo de tal violência nem seu praticante.
Este artigo visa a analisar a poesia de Ana Cristina Cesar. Para tanto, será refletido, na primeira parte, sobre a produção literária de autoria feminina, problematizando o uso disseminado do termo "literatura feminina", o qual limita a escrita a estereótipos não reais; a seguir, um panorama sobre a vida e as opiniões de Ana Cristina Cesar irá nos levar a conhecer quem é a autora estudada. Na segunda parte, a poesia, inclusive a marginal -geração de 1970-1980, da qual a poeta estudada faz parte -será caracterizada. Assim, como referenciais serão utilizadas as teorizações de Robert Ponge, Carlos Reis e Heloísa Buarque de Hollanda. Ao fim, será feita a análise dos poemas "16 de junho", "Cabeceira" e "Samba-canção", os quais são marcantes pela diferença e força que exercem na produção de Ana C.
Este artigo propõe uma interpretação do romance Orlando: uma biografia, publicado por Virginia Woolf em 1928, o qual narra a vida da/o protagonista homônima ao título desde os seus 16 anos, no século XVI, até os 36 anos de idade, no século XX. Diante de três séculos de história, Orlando tem seu sexo mudado de homem para mulher por encantamento. Este fato ocorre no campo textual e se torna aparente devido à troca de substantivos e pronomes, embora esta mudança altere também, significativamente, sua existência sócio-histórica. Para tal análise, apoiamo-nos em teorias desenvolvidas por Kate Millett (1970), Germaine Greer (1971) e Susan Bordo (1997), entre outras, buscando demonstrar de que modo a indumentária de Orlando sinaliza a mutação em seu corpo e modifica também as formas de representação e tratamento da personagem no âmbito social, pois estabelece as figurações dos papéis sexuais. A imposição da socialização feminina a partir da materialidade da personagem fica evidente. O romance enfatiza a necessidade de abolir a sistematização tradicional de gênero.
