Denne artikkelen diskuterer denne utviklingen opp imot klyngeteori. Vi presenterer refleksjoner basert på datainnsamling som er gjennomført i tre regionale klynger. Funnene viser at det oppstår betydelige skjulte kostnader ved å produsere ute, og at en har oppnådd flere fordeler ved å flytte produksjon tilbake.
