The quality of Work Life is one of effort that can be implemented by the company to increase job satisfaction and productivity of employees. Nowadays, employees in Indonesia dominated by Generation X and Y. The respondents of this study are alumni of Economic and Management Faculty of IPB. The objectives of this study are to identify the perception of Generation X and Y towards factors of Quality of Work Life and to formulate a strategy to increase Quality of Work Life based on perceptions of Generation X and Y. The source of primary data obtained by questionnaire method and secondary data obtained by study of literature. This research was using descriptive analysis method, Pairwise Comparison Method, and The House Model. The results of this study indicated 56% perception of Generation X towards factors of QWL appropriate with the theory regarding the factors QWL in Generation X and 52% perception of generation Y towards factors of QWL appropriate with the theory regarding the factors QWL in the generation Y. The strategy that becomes priorities to increase Quality of Work Life of Generation X is a safety at work, compensation, and conflict resolution. The strategy that becomes priorities to increase Quality of WorkLife of Generation Y is career development, compensation, and pride to the company. Keywords: quality of worklife, generation X Y
Paid plastic bags policy issued by The Ministry of Environmental and Forestry to reduce plastic waste problem and promote green behaviour lifestyle. In order to change consumer behaviour when using plastic bags, government need to look over the marketing of paid plastic bags policy. The objective of this study are to identify customer respons about using their own bags, customer perceptions of green marketing and green behaviour, analyze green marketing of paid plastic bags policy influence towards green behavior.Primary data are obtained by questionnaire method and the secondary data are obtained from Department of Industry and Trade. The data have been analyzed using structural equation model and descriptive analysis. The result of this study shows after the policy applied, more customers are willing to carry their own shopping bag and reduce using plastic bags. The price of plastic bags are still considered too cheap and should be increased. Green marketing process that has significance influence towarads green behavior are know your customer, empowering customer and reassure the buyer. Keywords: green marketing, green behavior
<p>Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) makanan dan minuman kota Bogor mampu menyerap banyak tenaga kerja. Tenaga kerja merupakan aset bagi perusahaan dalam bentuk modal insani dan modal sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis secara deskriptif, menganalisis pengaruh modal insani dan modal sosial terhadap kinerja UKM makanan dan minuman Kota Bogor, serta memformulasikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja UKM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan antara lain analisis deskriptif, <em>Importance Performance Analysis </em>(IPA), <em>fishbone</em> diagram, dan <em>Structural Equation Modelling</em> (SEM) dengan pendekatan <em>Partial Least Squares </em>(PLS). Hasil analisis SEM menyatakan bahwa pengetahuan lain dan dimensi struktural berpengaruh terhadap modal insani dan modal sosial, di mana modal insani dan modal sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kinerja pada UKM direkomendasikan melalui beberapa kegiatan penunjang antara lain: membentuk sistem pengendalian mutu dan penyusunan standar pelaksanaan produksi, memperbaiki sarana prasarana yang dimiliki oleh UKM, serta ikut serta dalam pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pekerja UKM.</p>Kata kunci: kinerja UKM, modal insani, modal sosial, <em>partial least squares, </em><em>structural equation modelling</em>
IPB is consistently becoming the Top 4 Best Universities based on the result of The Ministry of Research and Higher-Education Assessment Score for three years. Meanwhile, IPB still has the lowest assessment score on student affairs among other three universities. One of the significant components is the student achievements. This research aim (1) to identify the characteristics of the excellent students, (2) to analyze the perceptions about factors that significantly affect student achievement and student achievement itself, (3) to analyze the factors that significantly affect student achievement and student achievement itself, (4) to determine the result of Net Promoter Score of alumni to IPB. This research focused on a case of Department of Management Alumni Graduates of 2009 - 2013 FEM IPB that was conducted in Bogor Agricultural University from January to April 2018. This research used both primary and secondary data. The data analysis of this research was conducted by descriptive analysis, SEM-PLS, and Net Promoter Score. This research resulted that the environmental, physiological, psychological and instrumental factors had a t-statistic as orderly followed by 2.053, 2.031, 2.701, 0.033, whereas these factors were concluded to significantly affect the students` achievement. <p class="Default">Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) Kluster kerajinan adalah entitas usaha yang menghasilkan produk-produk yang sangat bergantung pada keahlian tenaga pengrajin yang tersedia. Dengan kata lain, modal insani dan modal sosial memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan kinerja UKM kluster ini. Hasil analisis Diagram Ishikawa menyatakan bahwa permasalahan utama dari rendahnya kinerja UKM berasal dari faktor sumberdaya manusia. Namun, hasil ini bertentangan dengan hasil <em>Importance-Performance Analysis</em>. Pemilik UKM lebih mementingkan sarana prasarana untuk diperbaiki. The study aimed to analyze the perceptions of the doctors of Hermina Hospital Bogor on BPJS health service quality and satisfaction level of the national health insurance program and to analyze the effects of service quality on the doctors’ satisfaction. Questionnaires were utilized to obtain the primary data, while literature reviews were conducted to obtain the secondary data. The data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this research, in reference to the descriptive analysis of the perceptions of the doctors in Hermina Hospital Bogor on satisfaction and quality service of the National Health Insurance program, indicated that the program is considered unsuitable in its implementation. The results of multiple regression showed that the variables of BPJS service quality have influences on the satisfaction of the doctors of Hermina Hospital Bogor. The term Work from home (WFH) has become increasingly popular after the Covid-19 spread occurred in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia. The implementation of work from home simultaneously in various companies is something new in Indonesia. Therefore it is necessary to investigate the factors of work from home implementation to determine the effectiveness of outcome-based telework. This research uses the descriptive analysis method and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The type of data used in this research is quantitative by using primary data in the form of direct interviews and filling out questionnaires to the employees or professional workers in Indonesia who work by telework/ work from the home program during the pandemic of Covid 19 situations. Secondary data gathered from literature studies and previous research. The results of this study indicate that five variables have a significant influence, namely the possibility to work from home because of the type of work, possession to work during the most productive time, suitability of a working place at home, time efficiency, and team member support. The suitability variable of a working place at home has the most significant influence compared to other variables.
