This study describes the didactic literature, namely literature that educates in imaginative or fictitious forms including moral, religion, philosophy or certain themes. This study aims to analyze the contents/expressions of discipline in literary works. This study employe a descriptive qualitative method based on the theory of didactic literary approach. The data were obtained by documentation study techniques and content analysis. The source of this research data were the texts that contain didactics expressions from a collection of Indonesian folklore, in this case Acehnese folklore, entitled "Cerita Rakyat Aceh Bernuansa Damai" [Peaceful Nuance of Aceh Folklore] published by the Peace Education Program (PPD) in 2009 containing 21 stories from various regions in Aceh. The analysis shows that the expression of the falsity of folklore in terms of (a) the suitability of the content/expression with the aim of national education, (b) contain a cultural dimension consisting of language, science, profession/work, technology, art, social system/organization, and religion/religion, (c) contain dimensions of knowledge: conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive, (d) find out the knowledge as the source of the problem/conflict and the solution provided.
Pendekatan ekologi sastra mengkaji hubungan timbal balik antara sastra dengan alam. Ekologi dan sastra adalah dua disiplin ilmu yang berbeda, tetapi keduanya saling membutuhkan. Hal itu terbukti dari banyaknya sastrawan yang menggunakan latar dan diksi alam dalam karyanya, termasuk hadih maja. Namun, saat ini, hadih maja sudah jarang dituturkan dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini berjudul “Eksistensi Ekologi Sastra dalam Hadih Maja (Kajian Sastra Lisan Aceh)”. Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk mendeskripsikan ekologi alam dalam hadih maja dan merevitalisasi hadih maja yang mulai terlupakan di lingkungan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan berupa pendekatan kualitatif berjenis deskriptif. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan peneliti untuk mendeskripsikan keberadaan ekologi sastra dalam hadih maja. Sumber data penelitian adalah masyarakat yang berdomisili di Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Data diperoleh melalui teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu wawancara. Adapun teori mengenai ekologi sastra yang digunakan merupakan teori yang dirumuskan oleh Endraswara (2016) meliputi ekologi alam dan budaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya eksistensi ekologi alam dalam hadih maja sebagai puisi lisan daerah Aceh. Peneliti menemukan 32 data ekologi sastra dalam hadih maja meliputi 25 data ekologi alam; yang terdiri dari 17 data hubungan sastra dengan alam dan 8 data hubungan sastra dengan manusia
