Two organic superbases, 1,5,7-triazabicyclo[4,4,0]dec-5-ene (TBD) and 1,1,3,3-tetramethylguanidine (TMG), were anchored onto silica-coated and uncoated iron oxide nanoparticles, resulting in three recoverable basic nanocatalysts.
Results of the studies of copper sulphate pentahydrate batch crystallization in the temperature range from 70 down to 30 "C are presented. In some of the experiments, free sulphuric acid has been added. The metastable zone width, nucleation and growth kinetic parameters, as well as the system kinetic constant were determined and compared with the data published in the literature.Ergebnisse einer Studie der diskontinuierlichen Kristallisation von CuSO, . 5 H,O im Temperaturbereich zwischen 70 und 30 "C sind prasentiert. Freie Schwefelsaure wurde in einigen Versuchen zugegeben.Die Breite des metastabilen Gebietes, kinetische Keimbildungs-und Kristallwachstumsparameter sowie die kinetische Systemkonstante B, wurden aus den Versuchen ermittelt.
Recently the scientific community has shown interest for titanium lanthanides (rare-earth), with the titanates Sm2Ti2O7 and Nd2Ti2O7 being poorly approached, specially at low temperatures. Crystallographic analysis were performed on the single crystal samples of Sm2Ti2O7 and Nd2Ti2O7, which allowed us to confirm its expected cubic and monoclinic structures, respectively; Magnetic and calorimetric data displayed the transition temperature, not previously seen in case of Nd2Ti2O7, of T=0.35K and T=0.62K, respectively, and the antiferromagnetic behaviour of both samples; Anisotropy was observed at high temperatures on the Sm2Ti2O7 data and along all the temperature range studied for the Nd2Ti2O7 sample. Finally, we have identified the entropy of Ising spins on both samples.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
