Simonsen wrote many books and brochures concerning various subjects such as colonial economy, protectionism, planning and interventionism. He also wrote on the future perspectives of the Brazilian industrialization in face of the Second World War and the development of the diplomatic and economical relations between the United States and Brazil. In this paper we have focused on the subsidies his thought has provided to the conservative trend in Brazilian politics, in areas as geopolitics and military thought. Palavras
