A Ruziziensis (Brachiaria ruziziensis) é uma forrageira com alta aceitação pelos animais, podendo ser indicada para bovinos de recria e engorda, fenação e integração lavoura pecuária. O capim capeta (Sporobulus indicus) uma planta daninha de difícil controle e indicadora de degradação de pastagens. Os experimentos foram conduzidos em delineamento de blocos casualizados (DBC) em esquema fatorial 2 x 4 sendo o primeiro fator com (0, 50, 100 e 150% da dosagem comercial, 200 g/ha) de imazetapir e o segundo fator com (0, 50, 100 e 150% dosagem comercial, 5000 g/ha) de atrazina. Foi possível observar que a atrazina se mostrou eficiente em todas as avaliações, destacando-se a dosagem de 50% da recomendação comercial por possuir uma melhor eficiência e uma menor fitotoxidez na B. ruziziensis.
Para o milho que é a principal cultura utilizada na safrinha, a disponibilidade hídrica é o fator de risco que mais afeta o potencial produtivo da cultura levando, em muitos casos, as perdas de produtividade. O experimento foi realizado para testar um produto comercial enraizador que promete melhoria no seu desenvolvimento. O delineamento experimental foi em DBC, os tratamentos consistiram em 4 doses diferentes do enraizador: 0 (test), 4mL (T1), 6mL (T2), 8mL (T3), 10mL (T4), por kg de sementes de milho, com 6 repetições cada, no período de 30 dias. Os dados analisados puderam confirmar que a dosagens recomendada pelo fabricante de 8 mL se mostrou a melhor opção para o desenvolvimento da parte radicular da planta, o que se torna uma boa opção aos produtores em relação ao custo e benefício, o estudo mostrou também que dosagens maiores não apresentaram bons resultados podendo não ser vantajosas.
