The writing aims to reveal the wealth of values in the philosophy of habonaron do bona and find inspiration for anti-corruption education in Indonesia. In order to approach this problem, the research uses Max Scheler's axiological thinking as the primary reference. The study took data through interviews with Simalungun community leaders in the Seribu Dolok area, Simalungun Regency. The collected data were analyzed using philosophical hermeneutics: vertehen, translation, and interpretation. The interpretation movement uses Paul Recouer's hermeneutic circle pattern. The results of data analysis show that habonaron do bona has primary values that are structured like the structure of Max Scheler's values. Habonaron do Bona, both related to primary values and values education patterns, can be implemented for anti-corruption education in Indonesia.
Community service activities carried out by a team from the faculty of social sciences at Universitas Negeri Medan took place at State Vocational High School 2 Tebing Tinggi. Implementation of the Community Partnership Program (hereinafter referred to as PKM) which will be carried out to support efforts to implement creative and fun learning and assist in the "Development of Interactive multimedia-based Learning Media in Online Classroom Management". This is one way to increase the competence of teachers of SMKN 2 Tebing Tinggi in online learning using Powtoon Interactive multimedia-based Learning Media. The targets that have been achieved in this PKM are: 1) Powtoon Interactive multimedia-based Learning Media Products. on online class management at State Vocational High School 2 Tebing Tinggi; 2) The use of Powtoon interactive multimedia-based learning media development in online classroom management at State Vocational High School 2 Tebing Tinggi; 3) Improving the competence of teachers of State Vocational High School 2 Tebing Tinggi in online learning using Powtoon Interactive multimedia-based Learning Media.
This article described about the Javanese and Batak Rajawi man. This article intends to compare the mindset of people from both tribes, backgrounds, and the impact on life. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document collection. The collected data were analyzed using Paul Recouer's hermeneutic circle. The results of the analysis show that the Java man is a spiritual man by relying on the "higher nature" as a protector, while Batak man shows more of a Rajawi man by emphasizing prosperity. The comparison shows that the two human patterns require synergy to build a good Indonesia.
This study aimed to describe the implementation of problem-based learning models in strengthening the democratic character of students. The type of research used in this study was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The researchers used observation, interview, and documentation techniques to obtain data. In addition, they checked the validity of the data by triangulation technique. The data analysis techniques contained data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicated that the application of the problem-based learning model could strengthen the democratic character of students by orienting students to problems, organizing students for learning, guiding individual and group investigations, developing and presenting work, and analyzing and evaluating problem-solving processes. Furthermore, strengthening democratic character through problem-based learning is carried out when identifying issues that occur by integrating honest, fair, and participatory attitudes.
The industrial revolution brought new challenges, opportunities and directions to the world of education. Students' critical thinking skills are urgently in line with the demands for increasingly complex problems with cross-disciplinary knowledge. Textbooks that are compatible with the development of material substance, curriculum, and student learning needs are essential. The development of textbooks cuts the barriers to learning and enhances the development of experience, and the continuous renewal of the substance of the course. This study aims to develop an electronic Pancasila and Citizenship Education Instructional Design electronic textbook based on a case study to improve students' critical thinking skills. The research adopted 10 (ten) stages of Borg & Gall's research and development model. This article presents the research and development results up to the operational product revision stage. The article specifically describes the feasibility of the book's material, language, and media aspects developed based on the assessment of competent expert validators in their field. Based on the validation results from the material, language and media experts, it shows that the case study-based electronic Pancasila and Citizenship Education Instructional Design to improve students' critical thinking skills is feasible to use in the field or the lecture process.
