We measured the aggregation behavior of polyfluorine (PFO) films blended with graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (RGO) using optical spectroscopy spectroscopy. We observed the changes relative intensity of 0-0 to 0-1 in the emission spectra in polymer graphene composite films. The composite films have more H like aggregation compared to pristine film. In addition, strong photoluminescence quenching observed in PFO-RGO compared to PFO-GO. Our study shows that polymer graphene composites can be used as optical sensing materials.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
