A novel metal-free annulation of ynamides with 2H-azirines catalyzed by BF 3 •Et 2 O is described, leading to the construction of polysubstituted 2-aminopyrroles in a facile, flexible, and atom-economical way. This synthetic strategy proceeds with efficiency, broad substrate scope, and short reaction time under mild reaction conditions. Furthermore, the obtained annulation products could be modified to generate diverse 2-iminopyrrole frameworks in high yields.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
