Pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan adalah sebuah keharusan bagi guru. Publikasi ilmiah merupakan bagian dari kegiatan Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (PKB) yang terkait dengan karya tulis yang dibuat guru dan hal tersebut menjadi salah satu bagian dari karakteristik guru profesional yaitu melalui budaya menulis dan meneliti. Di sisi lain, publikasi ilmiah juga menjadi upaya dalam meningkatkan penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan melaksanakan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat bagi guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan guru melalui publikasi ilmiah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang difokuskan pada analisis kebutuhan pelatihan publikasi ilmiah bagi guru di SMP Darul Hikam Bandung. Subjek penelitian diambil secara purposive yaitu 40 guru SMP Darul Hikam. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui angket, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang didapat dari guru melalui angket tertutup berbentuk data kuantitatif, kemudian informasi kebutuhan tersebut dilengkapi dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dengan kata lain proses tersebut menunjukkan bahwa analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan gambaran bahwa publikasi ilmiah guru SMP Darul Hikam sudah sangat tinggi dalam menyusun modul/ diktat pembelajaran, hanya saja jumlah publikasi ilmiah berbasis hasil penelitian dan buku berISBN masih dikategorikan cukup. Dengan analisis data dan kondisi di lapangan, pelatihan publikasi ilmiah ini ditujukan pada Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dari hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan guru melalui publikasi ilmiah masih perlu ditingkatkan dan perlu mendapat perhatian baik secara individu (guru) maupun lembaga terutama dalam publikasi ilmiah berbasis hasil penelitian.
Melalui Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 2016 pemerintah berupaya mengakomodasi pemenuhan hak penyandang disabilitas di antaranya dalam hal pekerjaan. Dari hasil survey, wirausaha menjadi pilihanbidang usahabagi sebagian besar responden dari penyandang disabilitas yang sudah bekerja maupun belum bekerja. Mengingat akan transisi kebutuhan penyandang disabilitas saat dewasa, dengan akses pendidikan dan pekerjaan yang masih sangat terbatas, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pelatihan kewirausahaan bagi penyandang disabilitas. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitati-kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif ex-post-facto. Populasi terdiri dari anggota Persatuan Penyandang Disabilitas Indonesia (PPDI) Kabupaten Subang dan sampel penelitian diambil dengan metode purposive sampling yaitu anggota Persatuan Penyandang Disabilitas Indonesia (PPDI) Kabupaten Subang pada usia kerja (15-64 tahun). Data penelitian didapat melalui angket yang dibagikan kepada responden, wawancara dengan ketua Persatuan Penyandang Disabilitas Indonesia (PPDI) Kabupaten Subang dan wawancara langsung dengan beberapa responden, serta beberapa dokumen yang relevan. Kemudian data dianalisis secara induktif, dan untuk membantu mendapatkan keakurasian kebutuhan pelatihan digunakan skema proses atau langkah analisis kebutuhan dari Kementerian Sosial Republik Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bidang dan jenis pelatihan yang dibutuhkan responden adalah keilmuan dasar wirausaha dan pemasaran digital (digital marketing). Dari penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemandirian penyandang disabilitas bisa diupayakan dengan pengembangan karir di antaranya melalui kegiatan pelatihan dalampembekalansoft skill dan hard skillyang dibutuhkan.Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mengakomodir penyandang disabilitas baik yang baru mulai bisnis atau sedang mengembangkannya.
The implementation of life skills management carried out by schools for students with disabilities has a difference between one school and another, in this article we will analyze the comparison of the implementation of life skill management for students with disabilities in State Special Schools and private Special Schools. The study was carried out at State Special Schools and private Special Schools in Sukabumi District with 10 respondents for each school consisting of the principal, the vice principal of the curriculum section, teacher and school committee. The approach taken was a mixed method. The questionnaire was used to see the uniformity of opinion of the academic community in each school and to deepen the research data conducted interviews, observations and documentation studies in answering how to analyze the implementation of life skills education management in State Special Schools and private Special Schools. . The results showed that there were differences in life skills management between SLBN and SLBS, another finding was disagreement of opinions among the academic community in each school regarding life skills education management through its principles, namely planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. The recommendation put forward that all academics must have the same understanding regarding life skills education management.
The present study was carried out to draw attention on the management of school collaboration in implementing life skills education for students with disabilities. This is because the resources possessed by educational institutions are very limited, thus the synergy of school with the community becomes an undeniable matter. In sum, research and development in the current project uses what has been developed by Borg and Gall. Data collection is done through document analysis, observation and in-depth interviews with special needs schools, companies and parents of students with disabilities. The model validation was carried out through a Focus Group Discussion involving several special needs schools in Subang; SLBN Subang, Waliwis Putih and SLB Trituna, PT Subang Autocomp Indonesia, Manpower and Transmigration Office, Education Office, and home industry owners. As well, limited testing of model feasibility was applied to two special schools in Subang namely SLB Waliwis Putih and SLB Trituna. The findings disclosed that the management of school collaboration in implementing life skills education for students with disabilities was compiled through planning, actuating and evaluation in various educational activities involving schools, business or industry and society. Based on results obtained in this line of research, it can be concluded that the implementation of life skills education for students with special needs has met the criteria of success in promoting synergistic cooperation among the school, business or industry and society.
The research focuses on analysing the needs of continuing professional development for teachers through scientific publications. This attempts to improve mastery of science and skills in carrying out lifelong learning for teachers. Taken purposively among 40 teachers on SMP Darul Hikam School, the current article uses a qualitative approach with a case study focused on the need of teachers' continuing professional development in scientific publications. The qualitative and quantitative research data is collected through questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Quantitative data obtained from the teachers are through a closed questionnaire, in this regards information needs are supplemented by data through interviews, observation and documentation. In other words, the process shows that data analysis is conducted using triangulation techniques. Based on results obtained in this line of research, the present study disclosed that continuing professional development for teachers at SMP Darul Hikam School is scientific publications training, especially in preparing ideal modules or guidebooks and writing skills in scientific articles from Classroom Action Research (CAR). From the results of the study it can be concluded that continuing professional development for teachers through scientific publications still needs to be improved and has received considerable attention both individually (teachers) and institutions.
