In this work, we have studied the nonlinear optical rectification (NOR) of spherical quantum dots (QDs) under Hulth´en plus Hellmann (HPH) confining potential with the external tuning elements. Energy and wavefunction have been determined with the help of the Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. Expression for the NOR coefficient is derived by the density matrix theory. The results show that the applied external elements and internal parameters of this system have a strong influence on intraband nonlinear optical properties. It is hoped that this tuning of the nonlinear optical properties of GaAs/Ga1-x

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
