Introdução: O diabetes gestacional é uma das comorbidades mais comuns encontradas durante a gravidez, estando associada a diversas complicações maternas e fetais. O prognóstico de cada caso depende, principalmente, do diagnóstico precoce da doença, do controle da glicemia materna e da propedêutica solicitada. Objetivos: Descrever os exames complementares realizados durante o pré-natal, que são relevantes para melhor prognóstico materno-fetal e propor uma comparação entre eles com o propósito de chegar a uma abordagem clínica ideal para grávidas portadoras de Diabetes. Materiais e Métodos: Revisão da literatura nas bases de dados LILACS, PUBMED, MEDLINE, SciELO e UPTODATE com artigos publicados entre os anos de 2000 e 2018 com os termos “diabetes”, “gestacional”, “feto”, “avaliação”, “propedêutica”, “protocolo”, “manejo” e suas correspondentes em inglês “diabetes”, “gestational”, “evaluation”, “fetus”, “propaedeutic”, “protocol”, “management”. Conclusão: Há carência de estudos com qualidade metodológica maior, porém há um padrão no uso dos exames de propedêutica fetal no diabetes e presença de outros fatores de risco para resultados adversos durante a gravidez. Ainda, os exames mais adotados na propedêutica fetal de gestantes com diabetes gestacional são: ultrassom; dopplervelocimetria; ecocardiograma; cardiotocografia e o perfil biofísico fetal.
O projeto de extensão “Garimpando o Cotidiano” realiza grupos de elaboração da experiência para promover saúde mental em Diamantina – MG, embasado na Fenomenologia. Em 15 meses, foram realizados 19 encontros no Centro de Atenção Psicossocial - CAPS Renascer, com 323 participantes. Identificam-se duas fases dos grupos neste período, que demonstram amadurecimento. Em contexto de expansão do sofrimento psíquico, inclusive no meio acadêmico, o modelo biomédico e a medicalização das dores humanas revelam-se ineficazes. A partir dessas provocações e do interesse em construir uma ação calcada na humanização da atenção à saúde mental criou-se o projeto de extensão “Garimpando o cotidiano” na Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri – UFVJM. O objetivo da iniciativa é realizargrupos de elaboração da experiência para promover a saúde mental da população de Diamantina (MG), abarcando as comunidades universitária e externa. A Fenomenologia é o referencial adotado, pois essa corrente fundamenta a valorização da atenção em acontecimentos cotidianos como estratégia de cuidado. A metodologia inspira-se no Programa Grupo Comunitário de Saúde Mental de Ribeirão Preto e na Terapia Comunitária Integrativa. Todos os encontros são abertos e de participação voluntária e incluem momentos de compartilhar elementos culturais reconhecidos como belos e acontecimentos significativos do dia a dia. Em 15 meses, realizaram-se 43 encontros: 23 nos dois CAPS (Centros de Atenção Psicossocial) da cidade, 2 em outras instituições de saúde e 18 na UFVJM, totalizando 1001 participantes. Cumpriram-se e superaram-se as metas estipuladas. O relato dos graduandos e pós-graduandos envolvidos e o retorno dos participantes indicam a pertinência da iniciativa em suscitar atenção aos processos pessoais e interpessoais de cuidado. Valorizar a beleza e riqueza do cotidiano favorece o empenho de cuidado com o outro e consigo mesmo, bem como capacita profissionais em formação a reconhecerem que toda pessoa possui habilidades, dificuldades, sofrimentos e capacidade de resiliência.
