Resumo: Tendo em vista os pressupostos teóricos da Gramática do Design Visual de Kress e van Leeuwen (2006) e as noções sistemáticas da Gramática Sistêmico-Funcional de Halliday e Matthiessen (2004), este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar, a partir das funções de representação e de interação visual, a linguagem não verbal usada para manifestar representações para a mulher, na capa do livro "Doidas e santas", de Martha Medeiros. O primeiro passo da análise consiste na identificação dos participantes representados na imagem. O segundo passo busca analisar os significados representacionais. O terceiro passo, por sua vez, consiste na análise dos significados interacionais entre o participante representado e o espectador. O último passo busca verificar as representações manifestadas visualmente para a mulher partindo da interpretação dos resultados obtidos. A análise da linguagem visual evidenciou, quanto aos significados representacionais, que a imagem configura-se como uma estrutura conceitual complexa, e, quanto aos significados interativos, caracteriza-se como demanda. Abstract: Given the theoretical assumptions of the Grammar of Visual Design of Kress andVan Leeuwen (2006) and systematic notions of Systemic Functional Grammar of Halliday and Matthiessen (2004 ), this study aims to examine, from the function sofre presentation and visual interactive, non-verbal language used to express representations to the woman on the cover of the book "Doidas e Santas", Martha Medeiros. The first step of the analysis is the identification of the participantsrepresented in the image. The second step is to analyze the representational meanings. The third step, in turn, consists in analyzing meanings interaction al between the participant and represented viewer. The last step aims to verify there presentations visually manifested for women based on the interpretation of the results. The analysis of visual language showed, as the representational meanings, that the image appears as a complex conceptual structure, and, with regard to interactive meanings, it consists of a demand.

Objetiva-se, neste trabalho, analisar aspectos léxico-gramaticais de notícias esportivas online, publicadas no jornal Estadão.com, a fim de verificar e comparar estruturas de base declarativa e atribuitiva das notícias. Os pressupostos teóricos são: categorias do sistema de transitividade da Gramática Sistêmico-Funcional (HALLIDAY & MATTHIESSEN, 2004) e modos discursivos do acontecimento midiático (CHARAUDEAU, 2010). Após a coleta de dez notícias esportivas, realizou-se a descrição do sistema de transitividade, a identificação e a análise das estruturas léxico-gramaticais, as quais permitiram a classificação dessas notícias esportivas em declarativas (nos termos de Sinclair, 1988) e atribuitivas (adaptação proposta a partir de Kurtz, 2011). Portanto, nas notícias classificadas como declarativas predominam fatos relatados e nas notícias classificadas como atribuitivas predominam ditos relatados.
