Objetivos: Descrever o tratamento cirúrgico de um mixoma cardíaco em uma paciente portadora de Complexo de Carney (CNC), uma síndrome genética rara com transmissão autossômica dominante, caracterizada pela associação de mixomas cardíacos e cutâneos, alterações de pigmentação cutânea e múltiplos tumores endócrinos. Metodologia: Todos os dados deste estudo foram coletados do prontuário da paciente após aprovação do Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa do Hospital Hospital Universitário Walter Cantídio. Resultados: Paciente do sexo feminino, 50 anos, portadora de máculas hipercrômicas na face, mixoma cardíaco no átrio esquerdo, mixomas cutâneos nos membros inferiores e nódulos tireoidianos, compatíveis com o Complexo de Carney. O acesso cirúrgico ao tumor foi por incisão biatrial com remoção completa da tumoração que criou uma comunicação interatrial, corrigida com Patch de pericárdio bovino. Conclusão: O tratamento cirúrgico dos mixomas cardíacos com excisão completa da tumoração é a única terapia com possibilidade de cura.
