Staphylococci strains, like the majority of bacterial strains, have developed the resistance to several antibiotics, including Quinolones and Fluoroquinolones In the Republic of the Congo, cases of resistance leading to treatment failures have been observed during the treatment of staphylococcal infections with antibiotics in hospitals. The objective of this study was to identify the Quinolones/Fluoroquinolones resistance genes from staphylococci strains isolated in hospitals.
