O presente artigo tem por objetivo apresentar os resultados de uma análise acerca das estratégias de marketing corporativo envolvendo as sacolas plásticas utilizadas por uma grande rede de supermercados gaúcha e produzidas com o “carro-chefe” ambiental da empresa petroquímica brasileira Braskem S. A. – o Plástico Verde. Discute-se a maneira como ele tem sido vendido como uma das possíveis soluções “sustentáveis” para a intensa problemática ambiental vivenciada na contemporaneidade. Parte-se do entendimento de que essas duas corporações se articulam em ações de Educação Ambiental Corporativa com o propósito de formar sujeitos consumidores “verdes” e de posicionar estas empresas como “educadoras ambientais”.
This article presents the results of a study of corporate marketing strategies involving plastic bags used by a large supermarket chain from Rio Grande do Sul, made using Brazilian petrochemical company Braskem SA's signature environmental product - Green Plastic. It considers how it is being marketed as one of the possible "sustainable" solutions for the modern world's critical environmental problem. It is founded on the understanding that these two corporations engage in Corporate Environmental Education activities with the purpose of shaping "green" consumers and positioning themselves as "environmental educators".
El presente artículo tiene como objetivo la presentación de los resultados de un análisis en materia de estrategias de marketing sobre las bolsas de plástico utilizadas por una gran red de supermercados gaucha y producidas por el "buque insignia" del medio ambiente de la petroquímica brasileña Braskem SA - Plástico verde. Se analiza la forma en que estas se han vendido como una de las posibles soluciones "sostenibles" a los problemas ambientales que hoy en día se están experimentando. Esto es en el entendimiento de que estas dos empresas se organizan en acciones de educación ambiental corporativa con el propósito de formar sujetos consumidores "verde" y posicionar estas empresas como "educadores ambientales".
