Neste artigo, investiga-se as representações discursivas sobre internacionalização da educação por professores de inglês da Rede Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica e Tecnológica (RFEPCT) participantes do Programa SETEC-CAPES/NOVA de formação continuada. Os pressupostos teórico-metodológicos orientam-se pela Análise de Discurso Crítica (FAIRCLOUGH, 2016 [1992]; 2003) e pela Internacionalização Crítica (VAVRUS; PEKOL, 2015; STEIN, 2019), que, respectivamente, encontram pontos de intersecção na mudança social por intermédio do discurso como prática social e nos princípios da ética, da equidade e da justiça social. Um questionário estruturado online foi aplicado em um grupo de professores de inglês a fim de possibilitar a geração dos dados. As respostas dos docentes participantes sinalizaram representações de internacionalização pautadas por aspectos benéficos do processo, evidenciando discursos hegemônicos e contra-hegemônicos. O estudo possibilitou compreender que delimitar hegemonias e contra-hegemonias nas representações discursivas dos professores participantes acerca da internacionalização é tarefa complexa, pois nessas representações coexistem sentidos híbridos e conflitivos.
Este estudo mapeou e discutiu trabalhos que tratam da internacionalização da educação na sua interface com políticas linguísticas, de Programas de Pós-Graduação em Letras e Linguística no Brasil, entre 2009 a 2019. Trata-se de pesquisa bibliográfica, no Catálogo de Teses e Dissertações da Capes (BTD) e na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD). A partir das teses e dissertações investigadas, é possível perceber: a) interesse crescente da área por essas temáticas, afirmando o caráter inter/transdisciplinar dos estudos de linguagem e a relevância das línguas na internacionalização; b) predomínio de pesquisas no eixo Sul-Sudeste; c) foco em programas de governo; d) estudos em contexto de ensino de inglês e francês. Assim, apontamos necessidade de estudos em contexto de outras línguas e enfoques, e de pesquisas que discutam alternativas para estratégias tradicionais de internacionalização e para o rompimento de práticas hegemônicas e excludentes de linguagem.
A relevância pedagógica do cinema tem interessado a pesquisadores de diferentes campos das Ciências Humanas, o que reflete em pesquisas que enfocam a relação do cinema com a educação, o ensino-aprendizagem de línguas e a formação docente. Nesse sentido, com o propósito de contribuir com trabalhos já existentes, este artigo aborda a prática crítico-reflexiva na formação de professores de línguas e toma o filme como um gênero discursivo em potencial. A partir de postulados do dialogismo sociodiscursivo e da teoria de gêneros do discurso, investigamos como o filme pode ser aplicado à formação de professores de línguas, suscitando reflexões críticas sobre a prática desses profissionais. Para tanto, o modelo de sequências didáticas se apresentou pertinente, de modo que elaboramos uma proposta com o filme O Substituto (2011) e a aplicamos em um curso temático orientado pela metodologia pesquisa-ação, no qual realizamos atividades como sessão de visionamento do filme, discussões temáticas dialogadas com textos teóricos e uma entrevista focalizada. Na discussão dos dados, indicamos que as sequências didáticas são produtivas para o trabalho com filmes enquanto recurso pedagógico, visto que possibilitaram o engajamento efetivo das participantes nas reflexões.
