Cet article a pour ambition d’étudier la performance des coentreprises internationales dans un contexte d’asymétrie structurelle, géographique et culturelle, entre des partenaires issus de pays émergents et de pays développés. Cette recherche examine la performance perçue du parent local turc depuis la création de son entité commune. Par ailleurs l’asymétrie, traditionnellement étudiée à travers le différentiel de taille entre les partenaires, est analysée en incluant les critères d’effectif, de chiffre d’affaires, de taux de croissance, de clientèle, de prise de décision et position concurrentielle pour définir la notion de l’asymétrie partenariale. Notre étude a ainsi permis une analyse plus fine des différentes dimensions de l’asymétrie partenariale et de ses effets sur la performance des co-entreprises internationales.
