Sabemos que en los cuerpos de las mujeres recae el peso de los cuidados y, también, que son quienes resignan tiempos: de descanso, de ocio, de placer. Este trabajo pretende dar cuenta de cómo se sostiene la vida en los tiempos de pandemia, en el marco de una crisis de los cuidados a nivel global y de un recrudecimiento de la situación de las cuidadoras tras el COVID-19. ¿Quiénes cuidan mientras el virus habita nuestras vidas cotidianas? Metodológicamente emplearemos la autoetnografía como una técnica que nos permite reflexionar sobre los cuidados desde nuestro rol doble de investigadoras y de cuidadoras. Aquí haremos uso del valor epistémico de las emociones en los procesos de investigación con metodologías feministas. En el trabajo apelamos a sostener una reflexividad que se deja afectar y atravesar por las emociones como herramienta en la producción de conocimiento. A través de la recuperación discursiva abordaremos las consecuencias de la realización simultánea de teletrabajo y trabajo de cuidado en un mismo territorio. La nueva modalidad de la vida cotidiana, obliga a las cuidadoras a una productividad sin límites. La fuerza de la máquina sigue sostenida por la expropiación de la vitalidad de quienes cuidamos, somos el bien común profanado por el propio sistema tecnoproductivo para su sostenibilidad. En este artículo nos proponemos ensayar reflexiones sobre las emociones que aparecen al cuidar y, por ende, las emociones que permiten que la vida se siga reproduciendo y sosteniendo. Y lo hacemos partiendo, a su vez, de una ética feminista situada.
