Determinados comportamientos agresivos de los adolescentes preocupan en escuelas de todo el mundo, siendo un problema de especial relevancia en América Latina y región Caribe. En concreto, en la República Dominicana los estudios hablan de prevalencias del 21.8 al 33.6%. El objetivo de este estudio es conocer en qué medida variables como el autoconcepto, la esperanza disposicional, las actitudes emprendedoras y los valores pueden actuar como factores protectores frente a la ocurrencia de dichas conductas violentas. Para ello, se llevó a cabo un estudio en una muestra de 117 estudiantes dominicanos de secundaria. La evaluación incluyó, además de los datos socio-demográficos, escalas de medida de conductas violentas en la escuela, esperanza disposicional, autoconcepto forma 5, actitudes emprendedoras para estudiantes y valores personales. Para evaluar la relación entre las diversas dimensiones, se planteó y estimó un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales MIMIC (multiple indicators multiple causes). Bajo este modelo, la esperanza, las actitudes emprendedoras, los valores personales y cuatro dimensiones del autoconcepto predicen con buen ajuste la conducta violenta en la escuela, correctamente aproximada a través de un modelo de medida en seis dimensiones. Los resultados del modelo ofrecen información útil desde dos perspectivas: a) Acercamiento empírico al constructo violencia escolar con saturaciones factoriales satisfactorias para los indicadores de la variable latente o factor; b) Identificación de variables predictoras de la violencia: esperanza, empatía, toma de riesgos en contexto de emprendimiento, valores mixtos (combinación de individual y colectivo) y autoconcepto familiar. En la discusión se recoge la necesidad de trabajar desde la Psicología Positiva las variables halladas más relevantes, para disminuir las conductas violentas en las escuelas de la República Dominicana.
ResumL'esquizofrènia tardana ha estat un diagnòstic destacat per la seua controvèrsia al llarg de l'últim segle. La polèmica sorgida al voltant d'aquest trastorn se centra en el marc psicopatològic i en les diferències i similituds amb l'esquizofrènia primerenca. Per tot això, l'objectiu d'aquesta revisió és conceptualitzar el trastorn i esclarir els símptomes, així com delimitar si l'esquizofrènia tardana s'hauria de considerar com una categoria independent.Aquesta revisió ha utilitzat com a motor de recerca la metabase de dades ProQuest Central, i s'han seleccionat un total de vint-i-dues bases de dades. Es van fer dues cerques, en què es van emprar els termes «late onset schizophrenia» i «late life schizophrenia». S'empraren diversos criteris d'inclusió, a saber: a) textos procedents de revistes científiques; b) accés complet; c) textos en català, castellà o anglès, i d) textos relacionats amb la conceptualització o la simptomatologia de l'esquizofrènia tardana. En aplicar aquests criteris, es van seleccionar un total de vint-i-tres treballs per a incloure'lsen la revisió sistemàtica.Els resultats van mostrar una presència més gran de símptomes schneiderians de primer ordre, al·lucinacions i deliris i mitjana més baixa de trastorns pp. 119-134
El objetivo de este trabajo es ofrecer un instrumento de evaluación que permita conocer las actitudes emprendedoras del profesorado, mediante la adaptación de la original Escala de Actitudes Emprendedoras para Estudiantes, al tiempo que facilitar una primera aproximación a su diagnóstico en el ámbito español, con proyección en el área de habla hispana. En el marco de un diseño transversal, se llevó a cabo una encuesta on-line en un único momento temporal en la que participaron 155 profesionales de la educación. El instrumento adaptado (Escala de Actitudes Emprendedoras para Profesores, EAST), basado en la Escala de Actitudes Emprendedoras para Estudiantes de Oliver y Galiana (2016), evalúa 6 actitudes emprendedoras con 18 ítems: proactividad, ética profesional, empatía, innovación, autonomía y toma de riesgos, que definen a la persona con motivación hacia el emprendimiento. El análisis factorial confirmatorio ofrece resultados adecuados: χ2 (120) = 214.225 (p < .001), CFI = .963, TLI = .953, SRMR = .011, RMSEA = .071. Se obtienen estimaciones de fiabilidad excelentes, con alfas de Cronbach de .95 a .97 para las seis dimensiones. Se detecta una relación negativa del emprendimiento con la edad, y una mayor presencia en mujeres. Los resultados muestran unas propiedades psicométricas adecuadas de la nueva adaptación, siendo este, hasta donde se conoce, el primero desarrollado para evaluar en educadores actitudes emprendedoras en el contexto hispano-hablante.
Es importante que los maestros y maestras en formación lleguen a interiorizar las características básicas del trabajo científico, es decir, que la actividad científica no solamente se relaciona con leyes, principios, conceptos (dimensión conceptual)... sino que también contempla otras dimensiones esenciales como son la procedimental y la actitudinal. De lo contrario, en su futuro como docentes no las tendrámn en cuenta, contribuyendo a visiones reduccionists y empobrecidas de la actividad científica. Por ello la presente investigación pretende determinar si los maestros y maestras en formación son capaces de reconocer las tres dimensiones (conceptual, procedimental y actitudinal) de la actividad científica. Para ello se desarrolló un estudio piloto de caracter exploratorio con un diseño transversal, en el que participaron 236 estudiantes de Magisterio. Los resultados obtenidos hasta el momento dejan entrever que los maestros y maestras en formación, en general, tienen dificultades en reconocer las tres dimensiones. La mayoría de los participantes tienen percepciones de la ciencia como una actividad relacionada casi exclusivamente con lo conceptual. Los resultados obtenidos hasta el momento permiten vislumbrar posibles líneas de actuación para diseñar y llevar a cabo propuestas de intervención que contribuyan a la adquisición de visiones de la ciencia más acordes con las características básicas de la actividad científica.
