El proyecto “Las plantas medicinales en la atención primaria de la salud de los habitantes de Luján” surge con el objetivo de tejer un puente para el diálogo intercultural sobre salud y para el reconocimiento de los usos de la biodiversidad y su conservación. Los ejes sobre los que trabaja son el conocimiento de la comunidad en cuanto al uso de plantas medicinales, la implantación de jardines medicinales y la difusión a través de charlas y talleres. A través del entramado de miradas, prácticas, valores y recursos, se intenta validar metodologías y conocimientos al servicio de la gente y conformar aliados estratégicos mediante la articulación entre actores procedentes de los ámbitos educativos y de la salud. La experiencia relatada constituye un aporte a la defensa y revalorización de los saberes, la cultura y las prácticas sobre los procesos de salud, enfermedad, atención, cuidados, en la interface entre la universidad, la comunidad y el sistema de salud.
