Objetivo: O objetivo deste trabalho foi o de identificar quais são os principais cimentos endodônticos que promovem a alteração de cor dental, além de mostrar quais outros caminhos podem ser seguidos, a fim de evitar o prejuízo estético do dente tratado. Metodologia: Foi realizada uma busca em inglês dos artigos através da base de dados PubMed, MedLine, Cochrane e Lilacs, no período de 2005 a 2020. Resultados: Observou-se que a maioria dos cimentos testados promoveram alterações de cor, especialmente materiais à base de óxido de zinco-eugenol e agregado trióxido mineral, quando aplicados em dentes anteriores, devido à estrutura delgada desse dente. Isso ocorre devido a componentes químicos presentes nesses materiais. Os componentes biocerâmicos são os que promovem menores alterações, quando comparados aos outros materiais citados neste estudo. Considerações Finais: A adequada limpeza da câmara pulpar é fundamental para evitar a descoloração dental após o tratamento endodôntico. O clareamento dental interno e a utilização do agente adesivo dentinário podem ser alternativas para melhorar a estética devido ao escurecimento dental provocado pelos obturadores endodônticos.

Objetivo: Este estudo tem como objetivo desenvolver e validar o aplicativo “OdontoUrgências-SUS” para pacientes que procuram atendimento odontológico de urgência do sistema público de saúde, que vai indicar quando os sinais e sintomas se qualificam como urgência, além de indicar os locais mais próximos que o paciente pode ser tratado. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo metodológico baseado em desenho instrucional sistemático para pacientes por meio de um aplicativo de celular desenvolvido em três etapas: criação do aplicativo, solicitação de registro do software e validação. Resultados: O presente trabalho apresentou como resultados a criação de um aplicativo, cuja principal função é fazer a triagem do usuário através do preenchimento de formulários. Por meio das respostas obtidas, a plataforma redireciona o usuário para a unidade de saúde mais próxima que atenda sua demanda. Para testar a usabilidade e satisfação do software, foi realizada a validação e aplicação de formulários online para alunos e professores de odontologia, bem como para cirurgiões-dentistas da rede pública de Maceió. Essa validação mostrou alta satisfação e usabilidade do aplicativo. Conclusão: Dessa forma, o aplicativo tem grande potencial de inovação na prática clínica e auxílio à população.
