Neste artigo, lançamos nosso olhar aos Tristia, obra escrita por Ovídio durante seu período de exílio. Nossa intenção, aqui, é apresentar uma breve análise da relação entre a poesia composta no exílio, o tempo e a autobiografia. Tal relação será observada por meio de Tr. IV,10 que, segundo a crítica, é uma das elegias responsáveis pela interpretação dos Tristia como autobiografia devido à quantidade significativa de material autobiográfico que nela encontramos.
