Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa dalam memecahkan masalah linear programming berdasarkan teori Newman, pada siswa kelas XI SMA PGRI Lawang. Subjek penelitian diambil 6 orang dari 22 siswa kelas XI MIA. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, kesimpulan yang didapat adalah: (1) 16,7% siswa mengalami kesalahan membaca yang tidak dapat berarti makna kata dalam materi. (2) 27,8% siswa salah memahami masalah yang tidak dapat menuliskan apa yang diketahui dan apa yang ditanyakan sesuai dengan pertanyaan permintaan. (3) 44,4% siswa membuat kesalahan transformasi yang siswa tidak dapat membuat model matematika. (4) 50% siswa salah mengartikan keterampilan proses yang tidak dapat melakukan perhitungan dengan tepat. (5) Adapun kesalahan menulis jawaban yang dibuat oleh siswa sebanyak 55,6% siswa tidak dapat membuat kesimpulan dari jawaban yang diperoleh. Solusi untuk meminimalkan kesalahan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah cerita matematika adalah dengan memberikan penguatan kepada siswa bagaimana mengubah kalimat menjadi model matematika dan melipatgandakan latihan dalam mengerjakan cerita.
The Purpose of implementing community service is to build public awareness during covid-19 pandemic so that they care about conditions around their homes. The method and local officials in order to obtain an overview of the existing problems. The results of community service activities are: the pandemic period causes people to rely heavily on activities at home.Children have to study at home online which causes parents to work extra to support their children. To raise awareness, a program of installing banners in strategic place, distributing masks and hand sanitizers and repairing patrol posts was carried out. With the aim of continuously reminding people to care about themselves and those around them by compling with government recommendations in dealing with the corona virus pandemic
