Hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar rendah. Guru masih kurang optimal dalam penerapan metode pembelajaran yang ada. Siswa tidak kondusif selama pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair and Share terhadap hasil belajar IPS pada tema indahnya keberagaman negeriku. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian True Eksperimental Design dengan jenis posttest-only control design. Sampel yang digunakan adalah Sampel Probability Sampling dengan Simple Random Sampling. Populasi berjumlah 60 yang berasal dari dua kelas yaitu kelas IVA (kelas eksperimen) sebanyak 30 peserta didik dan kelas IVB (kelas kontrol) sebanyak 30 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa tes hasil belajar. Data hasil belajar kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Teknik pengujian hipotesis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji-t, yang didahului dengan uji prasyarat analisis yang meliputi uji normalitas sebaran data dan uji homogenitas. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh data t hitung > t tabel yaitu 5,400 > 2,002. Dengan demikian, H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yang berarti bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair And Share terbukti efektif terhadap hasil belajar IPS pada tema indahnya keberagaman negeriku. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa melalui penerapan TPS.
