Objetivo: Descrever a ocorrência do câncer de mama em gestantes, bem como discutir as principais formas de diagnóstico e de tratamento, a partir de uma revisão narrativa de literatura. Revisão bibliográfica: O câncer de mama em gestantes, apesar de raro, é o tipo mais comum de câncer diagnosticado neste período. As alterações fisiológicas e anatômicas que ocorrem durante a gravidez podem fazer com que o diagnóstico ocorra tardiamente e com pior prognóstico. Os procedimentos para o diagnóstico e estadiamento da neoplasia devem levar em consideração a capacidade danosa para o feto, em virtude da radiação dos equipamentos e materiais de contraste, assim, a ultrassonografia é o exame de imagem padrão ouro. Em relação ao tratamento, a mastectomia e a dissecção dos linfonodos axilares fazem parte do plano terapêutico cirúrgico e a quimioterapia pode ser realizada após o primeiro trimestre. Considerações finais: É essencial que ocorra uma avaliação individualizada, considerando a idade gestacional e o estágio da doença, a fim de que seja instituída a terapia adequada a cada paciente, minimizando os impactos à gestante e ao feto.
Este artigo tem como objetivo abordar as dislipidemias, os fatores de risco associados à aterosclerose e por consequência o infarto agudo do miocárdio. As dislipidemias são alterações do organismo, que indicam a dificuldade do sistema realizar a metabolização lipídica. Já a aterosclerose é uma doença com patogênese lenta, decorrentes de vários fatores, sendo um deles as altas taxas de lipídios na corrente sanguínea. As placas ateroscleróticas são formadas na camada íntima dos vasos, a partir de depósitos lipídicos levando a processos inflamatórios crônicos. A modificação da parede do vaso, como o enrijecimento interfere na estabilidade da placa e causa outras doenças cardiovasculares, dentre elas o infarto do miocárdio. E de acordo a Organização Mundial de Saúde, o infarto é a maior causa de morte mundial, por isso a identificação de fatores de risco para dislipidemia, infarto agudo do miocárdio e aterosclerose é de grande importância na determinação do desempenho clínico e na formulação de políticas públicas de saúde. Ademais, é necessário o investimento em educação em saúde como uma das atividades responsáveis pela redução dos fatores de risco, em termos de prevenção primária.
Objetivo: Expor os sintomas somáticos de Fibromialgia, analisar suas repercussões na qualidade de vida dos portadores desta patologia e estudar intervenções que minimizem essa problemática. Revisão bibliográfica: A Fibromialgia é uma síndrome de dor crônica associada a sintomas somáticos e cognitivos, fadiga e alterações no sono, que afetam diretamente a vida dos pacientes devido ao conjunto sintomatológico relacionado às dores. No Brasil há a prevalência de 2% de Fibromialgia, com proporção de 1 homem a cada 5,5 mulheres e, em relação à epidemiologia dos sintomas somáticos, de um total de 140 pacientes com esta patologia, 91 tinham pelo menos um sintoma somático. Sua etiopatogenia é complexa, multifacetada, não conhecida por completo, e envolve fatores extrínsecos e intrínsecos. Para critérios diagnósticos, atualmente utiliza-se o Índice de Dor Generalizada (IDG), Escala de Gravidade dos Sintomas (EGS) e a presença ou história de sintomas somáticos. Atualmente são utilizados diversos tipos de tratamentos farmacológicos e não farmacológicos. Considerações finais: O trabalho elucida que há uma prevalência de sintomas somáticos nos pacientes diagnosticados com Fibromialgia, porém é necessário que seja desenvolvido meios de mensuração da dor dos pacientes de forma mais específica, assim como aumentar estratégias que proporcionam uma intervenção precoce.
