It was shown that in young and old male rats against the background of experimentally inducedhypertension were significantly increased levels of triglycerides, total cholesterol, low density andvery low density lipoproteids, which confirms the presence and progression of this disease in animals.Injection of cryopreserved nucleated cells of cord blood to hypertensive animals is accompanied bynormalization of the lipid profile, decrease of atherogenic index. The experimental data indicate thepossibility of correction of lipid profile of animals with hypertension on account of the influence ofanti-atherogenic properties of cryopreserved preparation of cord blood.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
