This study confirms long-term efficacy and tolerance of Botox® injection in patients with NDO using CIC. Long-term failure and withdrawal rates remain low but significant, and need to be managed.
These specific anatomical features of the cervical spine may have clinical implications, including more targeted spinal injections for managing disabling persistent or recurrent symptoms related to cervical spine degenerative changes such as cervical radicular pain.
Isolated nocturia or nocturnal urinary incontinence is a frequent problem encountered with multiple sclerosis. Our results suggest that an overactive detrusor is the main mechanism. Further studies are needed to verify the complications arising from nocturia.
