I. Gleichgewicht der Reaktion 2TI' + H,S + -[TI,S] + 2H' bei 25O. Die Theorie der Schwefelwasserstoffallung der Metalle wurde zuerst von OSTWALD angegeben. Das Massenwirkungsgesetz und die Berucksichtigung der elektrolytischen Dissoziation der in Betracht kommenden Stoffe fuhren in diesem Falle zu folgenden Gleichungen. Fur einwertige Metalle: fur zmeiwertige Metalle: Die Richtigkeit dieser Gleichungen ist qualitativ von BRUNI und PADOA' und weiter von PADOA und C A M B I~ gepriift worden. Fur eine quantitative Verifizierung dieser Gleichungen fehlte es bisher ail geeignetem Beispiel. Das in den Lehrbuchern ijfters zitierte Beispiel einer reversiblen Sulfidfallung mit giinstiger Gleichgewichtslage, die Fiillung des Zinksulfiils ist nach den Untersuchungeri von L. B R U N B R~ und ST. GLIXELLI~ nur ein Fall der falschen Gleichgewichte, analog dem allgemein bekannten Verhalten der Bi-und Co -Sal ze. Altere Literaturangaben liessen vermuten , dak ein recht giinstiger Fall der reversiblen Sulfidfallung die Fallung der Thallosalze mit H,S sein m u h Unsere Versuche hihen das Erwarten in vollem Make bestatigt.
