<p>Development in the field of power electronics, cost effective DSP’s and microprocessors have opened a new era in the design and implement modern control strategies for variable speed drives.<strong> </strong>This paper presents the design of a control system which includes a non-linear controller and observer for inverter fed Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) Drive. The entire design is carried out by designing of Speed Controller, Non-linear controller (NLC), State feedback controller (SFC), H∞ controller as well as Non-linear full order observer (NFO). The proposed control scheme is extensively simulated under various conditions using MATLAB/Simulink, which shows better performance under all operating conditions for variable speed PMSM drive.</p>
This paper investigates the problems associated with distribution system in terms of delivery of clean power and their solutions. Power quality has become a major issue in the present power system network. The network has mostly inductive nature. This draws more reactive power. This causes harmonics and voltage unbalance problems. So maintain the proper operation of interconnected power system, we are using one of the facts devices such as fuzzy controlled D-statcom. It provides suitable compensation and there by maintain proper power factor and also reduces harmonic contents. The simulation is taken out by MATLAB/SIMULINK and the result shows the effectiveness of GA (Genetic algorithm) simulation. Optimized Fuzzy controlled D-STATCOM for improvement of power quality.
An adult male lesser adjutant stork (Leptoptilos javanicus) of Nandankanan Zoological Park, Odisha, India was keeping its right wing flexed throughout the day with dullness and partial loss of appetite. On physical examination of the right wing, the sharp edge of bone was found protruding outside with breach of skin. Radiography of the wing confirmed compound carpometacarpal fracture at right wing. Keeping eye on its condition, external coaptation bandage technique was preferred over other methods of fracture reduction. The bird was confined to a small cage for 15 days to restrict its movement. The bird was administered with inj enrofloxacin and meloxicam for three days along with dressing of the site in three days interval. Radiographic images, after 15 days of bandage showed considerable callus formation at the fracture site. The bird was successfully recovered from fracture and released to its enclosure after one month and the bird was seen using its wings comfortably.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
