Prema podacima Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije, oko deset posto djece u ukupnoj populaciji ima teškoće u razvoju [1]. U teškoće u razvoju uvrštavaju se tegobe, i to: oštećenje vida, sluha, poremećaji glasovno-govorno-jezične komunikacije, motorički poremećaji, kronične bolesti, smanjene intelektualne sposobnosti, poremećaji pažnje/ hiperaktivnosti, teškoće u učenju, poremećaji u ponašanju, emocionalni problemi, te poremećaji iz domene autizma [2]. Roditeljstvo djeteta s teškoćama u razvoju vrlo je zahtjevno. Roditelji su suočeni s iznevjerenim očekivanjima jer su željeli i očekivali dijete koje će se razvijati slično ostaloj djeci. Oni su suočeni s mnogobrojnim dodatnim obve- Sažetak:U radu se opisuju rezultati istraživanja provedeno u skupini roditelja djece s poteškoćama u razvoju u Udruzi "Radost" iz Ogulina. Svrha je ovog rada prikazati odnos zdravstvenih djelatnika prema roditeljima djece s poteškoćama u razvoju. Ispitivanje je provedeno u mjesecu studenom 2013. godine na 30 ispitanika [roditelji djece s poteškoćama u razvoju -15 majki i 15 očeva]. Istraživanje je provedeno originalno konstruiranim upitnikom, s odgovorima koji su bodovani uporabom Likertove skale. Radi statističke analize određivanja stupnja značajnosti u uporabi je T-test za male uzorke. Dobiveni rezultati pokazuju da se liječnici znatno bolje odnose prema majkama djece s poteškoćama u razvoju, i to iz postojanja predrasuda da su majke djece sa teškoćama u razvoju osjetljivije na odnos liječnik -dijete -roditelj. The purpose of this paper is to show the relationship of health care professionals to parents of children with developmental disabilities. The survey was conducted in November 2013 on 30 patients [parents of children with disabilities in development; mothers; 15 fathers]. The study was conducted by usage of originally designed questionnaire with answers measuring by Likert-scale. Statistical analysis was performed with usage of the t-test for small samples. The results show that physicians significantly better relate to the mothers of children with developmental disabilities, due to the prejudice that mothers of children with disabilities are more vulnerable to relationship doctor -child -parent. Intellectual disabilities do not belong to the group of diseases. People with intellectual disabilities [IT], are in a state of arrested, incomplete or restrained mental and physical growth and development, which is refl ected in the socalled IQ lower than 70, reduced adaptive abilities, and all of this was verifi ed before the age of 18-years of life. People with intellectual disabilities are full members of the community, have their own desires, feelings, needs and abilities. Furthermore, they are not sick, but people who needs to understanding and trust. People with intellectual disabilities are full-fl edged members of our community, have their desires, feelings needs and abilities. They are not patients, they are the people who need to understand and complete confi dence. The purpose of this study is to compare the attitudes and knowledge about people with intellectuall disabilities, beetwen nurses which have the same level of primary education but are employed in two diff erent institutions, social and health institutions. The study included 80. subjects which were equally distributed in two groups of respondents [40 nurses in social institutions; 40 nurses in medical institutions]. Testing is conducting using an anonymus Likert fi ve-point questionare [1. strongly disagree; 2. disagree; 3. neither agree nor disagree; 4. agree; 5. strongly agree] and results will be presented in tables and graphical form. Knowledge of issues and aproach people with disabilities do not depend about the level of education but on professional upgrades and direct work expirience in a social institution.

U prostoru ambulante pacijenti uz apsolutnu diskreciju mogu dobiti sve potrebne savjete i preporuke za liječenje. Ambulanta radi četvrtkom, a za svakog pacijenta osiguran je tretman u trajanju od 30 do 45 minuta.Rezultati istraživanja o seksualnosti u RH iznalaze kako je to osjetljiva tema o kojoj pacijenti nevoljko razmjenjuju iskustva, te se stoga naručivanje pacijenata provodi uporabom telefonskih narudžbi, a dolasci i odlasci pacijenata organizirani su tako da se pacijenti međusobno ne susreću [1]. U ambulantu dolaze pacijenti iz svih dijelova RH te iz zemalja u okružju. seksualnih terapeuta u RH. Specijalizirao je psihijatriju na Sveučilištu u Oxfordu, u Velikoj Britaniji, dodatno se usavršavao za granu seksualne medicine, a na Sveučilištu u Sheffieldu, u Velikoj Britaniji, najvećem sveučilišnom centar za područje istraživanja seksualnih poremećaja, pohađao je praktičnu edukaciju [2].
