В последние годы в России рядом юристов и иных общественных деятелей активно предлагается узаконить в семейном зако нодательстве принцип родительской власти над детьми. Однако исторический опыт указывает на то, что как Россия, так и зарубеж ные страны со временем полностью отказались от этого принципа. Целью статьи является проведение исследования перспектив нового появления принципа родительской власти в семейном законодательстве России с учетом исторического опыта как нашей страны, так и зарубежных стран, анализа доводов в пользу и против узаконения этого принципа, а также прогнозирование послед ствий возвращения принципа в российское право. При проведении исследования использованы метод исторического познания и сравнительноправовой метод исследования. The pandemic of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 highlighted many problems of Russia's economic development, including the problem of gender inequality and violation of women's rights in the field of work and employment. It is obvious that in case of difficulties in overcoming this problem by internal forces, it is advisable to turn to foreign and international experience, and especially to the experience of other post-Soviet states.
