In the field of air traffic control it is a significant challenge and source of risk that often maximal performance load is charged against the regions of the airspace. Another problem is the fact that if the air traffic control is inefficient, it brings about substantial excess costs, as well. The article gives a new network model for the analysis of large air traffic networks and provides new opportunities also in the area of control theory. It reviews the relevant macroscopic modeling techniques and the application of the class of positive systems. Keywords traffic networks • mathematical modeling and control • nonlinear positive system • macroscopic modeling techniques • internal and external networks simultaneously • new air network model.
The importance of the “Ramp-up bridge” covering the gap between product development and serial production, as well as the speed at which this bridge can be crossed, has increased, providing companies with a significant competitive advantage. However, a significant percentage of project aiming to introduce new products do not achieve their goals. [(60 percent of the automotive supplier ramp-up projects fail on either the technical, or the economic side (Bischoff, 2007)].The author explores the possible reasons, then makes suggestions regarding the support of successful ramp-up projects, through practical examples taken from the industry. Through the continuous improvement of ramp-ups, a new core competency can be achieved, with a decrease in time-to-market. This core competency is difficult to duplicate, and can provide an additional competitive advantage for companies manufacturing products with high technical complexity.
There is no room for debate about that the quality is one of the most important competitive factor and nobody against that this quality virus has to be spread. The paper would like to help with methods and techniques -what are not well known and used in the domestic organizations- to spread this virus in different fields of the organization. Its strategic motto is: Instead of quality management development and improvement the quality of the management has to be developed in the interest of quality management. Today, that idea has to be given up what says more and more modern quality systems development start is needed instead of it the whole quality of the management has to be developed. High level of the quality system is not equal with the high quality of the management. It has to be turned. The high level of the management quality will ensure the possibility of well operating high level quality management. The paper wants to present this from different aspects on the one hand by comparing the classical development of quality management systems on the other hand by new (volume, profit and quality) approaches of certain management elements and methods.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
