This research aims to understand the status of commercial banks' readiness for adoption of Marketing 4.0. Exploratory research design was adopted to gain a better understanding of practical aspects of the issue of marketing 4.0. In-depth interview was conducted among 27 respondents of commercial banks in Nepal for detailed information to analyze status of Marketing 4.0. This study shows that commercial banks are aware regarding the concept of marketing 4.0. However, only Global IME Bank Limited and NMB Bank Limited have actually adopted the practice of Marketing 4.0. As the study shows the awareness regarding Marketing 4.0, it indicates that Marketing 4.0 has the potential to go from theory to practice and implementation in banking sector.
Banana restaurant is a new concept in Nepal where the products are made using banana only which gives the first mover advantage in product development and has less explored in Nepal. Therefore, this study aims to analyse consumers’ perception and business opportunity of banana restaurant in Tikapur, Kailali, Nepal. This study adopted explanatory research, and 203 samples were collected from consumers of banana restaurants. In addition, data were collected using structured questionnaire by using KOBO Toolbox. Thus, the obtained data were analysed by using both descriptive and inferential methods. Findings indicate that consumers perceive products of banana restaurant positively and are enjoying the variety of products. Likewise, SEM results indicate that psychological, economic and social characteristics are significant to innovativeness and risk taking, whereas innovativeness and risk taking are significant to managerial performance. Banana restaurant has been contributing with local employment and shows the high level of business opportunity of the banana products in the market of Tikapur (Kailali, Western Nepal).
The aim of this study was to examine factors that influence teachers' attitudes toward using technology in Lalitpur Metropolitan City. Using the technology acceptance model (TAM) as the framework, the study considered the sociodemographic context in Lalitpur District and included a new external variable—policy—along with perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, learning environment, and behavioral intention, into the original TAM framework. Structural equation modeling was implemented on questionnaire data collected from 300 teachers in Lalitpur Metropolitan City. The expanded model revealed a goodness-of-fit. School teachers' perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, were determined to be the factors with positive direct influence on teachers' attitudes toward using technology. Behavioral intention and learning environment were found to have an indirect influence. This study contributes to the understand the status of Education 4.0 on the TAM and also serves as a starting point in understanding teachers' attitudes toward technology use in Lalitpur District.
